The problem with Bale is that he is more preocupied about player golf than playing football. Worse is that he and his family are happy at Madrid and don't actually want to move. Suck to say for Real, but its a point where Bale don't actually care about leaving because even if he play less, he still get a better wage than anywhere else and is really happy with everything beside football. So yeah, he got very little reason to actually want to leave.

What about Atletico Madrid?

@Marcus2011 Well, obviously, the guy who showed Van Djik how to be a world class defender, Lovren. XD But more seriously, defender tend to injure themselve less and less severly, so I wouldn't worry too much about it but maybe Liverpool should think about signing someone there just in case. Oh and Gomez can play as CB I think, so there is alway that as well.

Talking about Atletico though, heard Felix was already injured already, hope its not too bad. :(

@Marcus2011 That is a Liverpool fans fear, I think no signing at the moment can indeed "replace" Van Dijk if he is injured. But Jurgen Klopp is a manager always who develops his players to their fullest potential and last season when he did splash the cash it was very surprising. But the club has Joe Gomez and Matip, with Gomez being brilliant before he was injured. And with the new aquisition of Van Den Berg and with our youth player Ki-Hover, plus the legend and best defender himself Dejan Lovren, we do have some defensive depth(but I wouldn't count on Lovren for any important must win game). I think the main concern is depth for attack once 2-3 of our attack gets injured as last season we had to play Wijnaldum as false 9 CF. But with Harry Wilson back and Rhian Brewster on fine form we should be covered!

@Algerino Well, considering he was thought to leave for around 50M to the PL last year. Yeah, its pretty cheap. Now, something tell me he will be a good player at Betis but not a superstar either.

@Emobot7 @Algerino Yes while his transfer itself is a bargain, and he was supposed to sign for Liverpool for 60m last season, his knee is a big problem, infact that is the reason why Pool didn't sign him due to him failing his medical.
