Erm. I hope so. But sadly, No.

1- Arsenal must win the 2 games and score at least 3 goals in them.
2- Olympiakos must lose the 2 remaining games.
3- Bayern would win easily against Olympiakos and it all depends on Dinamo Zagreb match which is still possible, but all these points has to happen in order to Arsenal qualify to the next round.. which makes it really hard and needs a lot of luck.

Arsenal need Bayern to beat Olympiakos at home, which let's be honest is what should happen, and arsenal need to beat zagreb at home and olympiakos away by two goals. Said like this it is very possible that arsenal will qualify. I say yes.

i want Arsenal to qualify.. but it will come with consequences like rising numbers on injured players.. we dont rotate our squad too often.. to be honest, we dont have enough quality players for rotation.. now im missing players that Arsenal set out on loan like akpom yaya gnabry etc.. Yes we can qualify but like Alex said, we need tons of LUCK..

@jimbet it's not tons of luck. The only result that doesn't depend on us is bayern beating olympiakos. The rest depends on us playing to our standards. We have the quality to stomp both zagreb and olympiakos

Arsenal doesnt need tons of luck, they just need to beat Olympiacos with 2 goalsdifference, considering that the goal average rule is applied on direct confrontations...
Olympiakos is more likely to take points from Arsenal than for even a qualified Bayern, Zagreb is a must win then a little final between the two.
I dont see Arsenal beating the Greek so i tend to say no, but mathematically its still possible.

It will all be decided at the last game for Arsenal and Olympiakos.
Olympiakos last year won La Liga and Serie A champions in their home for me it will be one of the best games to watch this year because Olympiakos wants to prove himself at Europe and Arsenal cant afford to go out so early.

Looking pretty bleak I must say. However haven't been able to watch Arsenal live at a ground in a while so will be great to watch the lads against Olympiacos so hopes are still high.

I think Yes. How many times we have seen Arsenal in similar situation where they had to either win it or die . Cornered Arsenal will give it all and win those matches with needed margin .

2 goal margin are not impossible especially against these sides it will be much easier .

i think not because olympiacos havent reached this sum of pnts to crash out at the final match , they just have won 3 champions league games in a row in their entire history

Yea it's possible, but why would you want to? You guys are doing well in the league and have a big chance of winning it. What's the point of qualifying to the next round? Do you think you guys can take on the likes of Real, Barcelona, PSG, or even Bayern again? I say not qualifying is the biggest blessing Arsenal will get in years.

Honestly, stay out of the UCL, it wont do you any good. Rather focus domestically and regain that PL title.

@Madridista11 Are you serious? Arsenal at their best days can beat any team.

Of course! We all know that their best days are when they're down 3-0 on aggregate. They would've at least won a UCL trophy.

Look I really love Arsenal... REALLY! So I say let them focus on domestic titles this year rather than chasing a trophy they won't win anytime soon. The UCL serves as a distraction for them now.

They are much more complete squad than the years before, you are forgetting their basic problem the INJURIES if Arsenal had their whole squad they would give a better fight and also dont forget that Arsenal play in a tough league they dont play vs 18 mediocre teams and 2 decent sides like Bayern. We can discuss this about hours but each of us have their opinion and I honestly respect yours but I find it completely wrong to say Arsenal can't compete with RM, PSG, Barca and Bayern.
Especially now when Barca has an injured Messi, RM not performing to their standards, Bayern lost in Emirates and PSG who is kinda unlucky but doesnt have the qualities and attacking force of the rest 3 despite they have a fantastic squad.

Peace lad :)

Arsenal will beat Dinamo Zagreb at home easily.. meanwhile Bayern will trash Olympiakos at home.

And then they'll beat Olympiakos away in a tight match. Olympiakos is good, but not as good as a couple of years ago and Arsenal is class this year.. Thing is though, that if Arsenal wins with 1 goal they're on the same points and same goal difference between each other.. Thus who advances depends on who has scored the most goals against each other.. and since Olympiakos beat Arsenal 2-3, Arsenal will either have to score lots of goals away at Olympiakos which is unlikely or beat them with more than one goal away..

So it will be very hard for them to progress, but that's when arsenal plays the best.. I say 35-65..

Yea I think Arsenal can take on likes of Real and others . Arsenal almost took out Barcelona in their prime if it was not that bloody red Van Persie got for simply stupidest thing that anyone can get a red even on Sunday league .

Cornered Arsenal plays much better football . It is like a mice fighting for his life who turns into lion .

Arsenal may loose to West Ham on Saturday night and beat Bayern on Wednesday night . I don't think we are just being optimistic but more than realistic . Yeah in the league they have been failing in similar ways every year but this is Champions League . CL is different type of environment compare to EPL , so Wenger and Co. knows how to play in CL .

Olympiacos is good team so is Zagreb but they never met extremely determined and cornered Arsenal . Bayern has and they almost got knocked out at their own home ground . Don't write them off .

You guys are forgetting that Arsenal lacks ambition. I highly respect your opinion aswell, @Joze. Only difference is that my points are indeed factual and traceable. If you look back in footyroom's archive you can see that Arsenal has a pattern of losing away, then putting in 110% effort at home, only to fall short. Now, if Arsenal were to play at 110% more often, I wouldn't doubt that they'd win at least 4 PL's/ 1 UCL (Since Henry's departure). But that's not the case.

Arsenal are a top top club with big names on their sheet, but the same scenario happens every single year. Good luck to you guys.

@madridista I get what you're saying. The problem is that most probably if we fail we'll get into europa league which is way way worse than CL. We've seen many english teams having awful seasons because of the Europa League. For example Everton last season, Swansea a couple seasons ago.

I see lots of arsenal fans who say they'd rather finish last of the group than 3rd because of that. I'll be honest, I wouldn't really mind the europa league because european nights are my favorite. And we'd have a decent chance of winning the whole thing.

Exactly very descent chance . IF Arsenal does go to Europa League , I don't see a reason for them not to win it . Arsenal has a big squad not like Everton or Swansea . Arsenal has enough quality on the bench that can compete in Europa League while main guys play in EPL .

Eh, I agree with what most people said. Arsenal play better when in a tough situation, but they also tend to dramatically fail when they believe they're going to win. They have a better chance of proceeding to the knockout stages than many people might give them credit for, but they will almost certainly fall short in the quarterfinals or the round of 16 - as they always do. Although I have to disagree that they are capable of beating any team on their day. I don't believe that at all. Bayern beat them 5-3, and I believe Real and Barca can do similar damage even if all Arsenal players are fit. The old Arsenal team that almost beat Barcelona had RVP and Fabregas in their prime on their team. Vastly different look today. Alexis is the only constant performer in the Arsenal squad these days.

Dynastian, how can you be So ignorant san say sanchez has been our only consister player. ozil has been playing magnificent since arriving to arsenal only People WHO dont Watch him regularly say that he doesn't perform condistently. May I also add bellerin, koscielny and monreal have been a brick wall whenever all 3 of them start we have the best defence in the league in terms of goals conceded and Ramsey who's injured gives balance to the team. Look how shite we've been playing without them. Especially our right hand side without bellerin and Ramsey
