City certainly a bit worrying to see but I doubt many of us will complain. Certainly look like Liverpool are in the best position to run away with it but honestly, the season is still young and so much can still happen. I'm not saying City are down for the count as of now.
Like DarthFooty said, we hopefully will have a close race again this season.
But honestly, what I'm most interested to see is United with Amorim at the wheel. Really curious to see how they do especially considering the results have been good since Ten Hag firing.
Yes I'm interested to see what Amorim does with the team as his team consists of wingbacks which would make players like garnacho Antony etc surplus to requirements.
Losing 0-4 at home to the bottlers is the worst defeat you can have in the league. Pep should be sacked and many of those players should have their contracts terminated.
Arteta has never caught up a position from being behind.
Therefore that concludes the title race as Liverpool will beat Southampton and then destroy City at anfield next week to go 11 points clear at the top.
Congratulations to Liverpool winning the title with a new manager whilst the Arsenal fans have had to put up with 5yrs of trust the process and still nothing to show for it.
lol
To be fair, Tottenham despite their reputation have alway been the bogeyman of this City team. Still, it clearly one of their worst moment in recent history. I won't bury them yet though, but honestly, they will need to win against Liverpool next week or else, that might be it for the title. Its crazy how 3 or 4 defeats in the league might be enough to destroy City title chance.
Credit to Liverpool, they are really putting the pressure on everyone else and like Footy said, it might be hard to catch them up if City lose against them.
As for Amorim start, dissapointing for him that he already got a negative results with that draw against Ispwich. Hopefully for United fan, with time, he will improve United performance.
On another topic, really sad to see Aston Villa recent results being so complicated, look like they might not be able repeat their amazing performance of last season.
The title race for city is officially over and now they are in a top 4 race. They will continue to drop more points as their squad is the weakest it has been probably since pep took over.
It's Liverpool's title to lose now, 9 points ahead of the only title challengers Arsenal. Arteta has never caught and overtaken a team before so Liverpool are definitely winning the league.
Next up we will demolish man utd at the Emirates in midweek but it will be for nothing other than embarrassing our rivals.
Incredible to see City stoop so low when compared to their usual standard. Pep really losing it as well with the six gesture. You have to be doing something right if you make Pep lose his humble act. On another topic, Salah is just incredible right but I'm worried by all the contract talk around him. It feel like every time, he talk to the media, its only to complain this season might be his last one. Still by far one of the best player in the league right now.
Arsenal and Chelsea both above City right now is quite interesting to see, I wonder if Chelsea might manage to stay in top four from now on. Feel like Maresca really did a decent job turning thing around for them this season despite the incompetence of the new owner.
Chelsea are one like the only team who have depth in their squad so I fear that they will be in the title race if Liverpool have a dip in their form. But Chelsea will eventually have a dip in form themselves so I think Liverpool will be able to win the league in March or April at the latest.
It was funny we were awarded an offside goal against Fulham and we still couldn't beat them. The title race is over for us.
Next up I believe Tottenham may be able to produce a result against Chelsea.
@Footy_watch Yeah, hard for Arsenal, after two year of keeping City on their toes, it doesn't look like you guys will be able to take advantage of City drop in form, unlucky really.
As for Chelsea, seeing how thing are going for them right now, they might be the only team left which can give trouble to Liverpool.
Crazy how the title race this season might be between Liverpool and Chelsea despite the fact the two seasons before that, it was all about Arsenal and City. Really goes to show how quickly things can change in the Prem.
The fall off of city is incredible, i didn't think it would get this bad for them but it's fun to watch.
Pep has to get sacked at this point, 1 win in 11 games is relegation form.
@Footy For sure, their form is relegation worthy, though they won't fire Pep unless they really get into the relegation zone. I mean, the man gave them their first CL and won them 6 premier league.
I mean, look at Atletico, their coach is much less successful than Pep but considering how far he taken them in the CL on many occasion and how he managed to turn Atletico into a serious title contender on many occasion and also managed to take a few title as well, they aren't in any hurry to sack him.
Considering how much he did for City, I would be surprised to see Pep being sacked.
As for United, this victory could really be the starting point to turning around their season. Hard to know if they could still potentially qualify for Europe but it will be very interesting to see were they go from now on.
this is the start if a new era of football
Hello and sorry for being absent. Im so busy nowadays I just watch the games and then go to sleep.
Im not as active in general as I used to. And that includes all platforms.
But the activity in here is low by default so I havent missed that much. 😄
btw Nottingham 3rd and Manchester United 13th…👊

@Pelle Yeah, don't worry about it, though I'm also a bit sorry about my lack of time on the forum.
As for the PL, we're more than halfway through and we got some really surprising stuff to say. First, in term of position, team like Tottenham and United are extremely dissapointing, honestly.
Tottenham, with Son poor form and the sheer amount of injury, I can kinda understand why its not going right for them but United should really be doing better, they are lucky they got a very good in-form talent in Amad.
Brighton and Aston Villa are pretty high in the table but considering recent form in past season, they could pherhap aim even higher.
Newcastle is propably the most impressive team in term of form right now, wonder just where they might go if they keep this up.
Chelsea is the reverse of that, having had really poor results in the last couple of games, which is dissapointing considering how well thing were going for a while for them.
Nottingham Forest is obviously the most surprising team, if they get into europe this year, it would be massive for them, especially considering their history as a two time European Cups winner.
As for Liverpool, it look like their form is starting to drop a bit, maybe some of their key players need a bit of rest. Also, the TAA situation isn't too great right now.
My biggest dissapoint is the fact Arsenal hasn't really been able to take full advantage of City poor form for their standard. If they had an actual goalscoring striker, I feel like it would change so much for them. Havertz not bad but scoring goal consistently will never be his strong point.
I left the game at 1-1 and never thought Arsenal would beat Man city 5-1
Lol
This forum is as dead as our title challenge and hopes. The question is by what game will liverpool win the title.
Now we have Havertz out for the season. Martinelli will be out for a few weeks. Saka will be unlikely to return this season too. These leave us with Trossard & Nwaneri as our only attackers & we have to play in the UCL.
Absolutely pathetic from Arteta, we will never win a trophy as long as he's manager
I left the game at 1-1 and never thought Arsenal would beat Man city
5-1
I was dissapointed as well
Man City are still the favourites which proves again that the EPL is a farmers league.
I dont know who will finish behind them this time but it's highly unlikely to be us.
If we don't sign a striker we will go another season without a trophy and finish 3rd or 4th.
