Premier League 2024/25

Man City are still the favourites which proves again that the EPL is a farmers league.

I dont know who will finish behind them this time but it's highly unlikely to be us.

If we don't sign a striker we will go another season without a trophy and finish 3rd or 4th.

Is there anything that can stop Man City from another title? (besides them maybe getting penalized by FA)
I don't see it currently. All teams will have their ups and downs but City are so consistent and deep. FA decisions will be interesting.

Is Man Utd and Chelsea permanently stuck in mediocrity? Do they have any long-term strategy but trying to buy themselves out of the ”slump”?
Chelsea look to be in a better position lockerroom-wise than United. It's a young team and should they ball out, together, they can turn their fortunes around for higher spots in the league.

Will this be the season when Everton finally is relegated?
I hope not, only for historical reasons, but man, they need to get it together to even hope to stay up.

Will Liverpool do well without Klopp in the long run?
I think so. Obviously, they will need to recruit well as their players are aged, but I like the approach to the game for them and Liverpool is an attractive place to play for young up-and-comers.

Will this be yet another trophyless season for the Spurs?
Yes, unless they make a cup run for one of the smaller tourneys.

After a few games into the season I have some thoughts that I wanted to share.

Every question is easily answered.

City are far ahead of everyone and will continue winning the title this season and next season.

Unfortunately Man Utd won't remain in mediocrity as they've been fixing everything off the pitch. The last piece of the puzzle is getting a top manager.

Even Chelsea have owners who want to take them to the top again so they also won't remain in mediocrity. But both teams will still be
mediocre for another 2 seasons at least.

Everton will stay up as the promoted teams never do enough in recent years in the transfer market to get to the level of the premier league.

Liverpool won't do well as their owners don't care about their club winning trophies just like us.

And finally this should never be a question as Spurs will never win anything as long as Levy is their owner. The fact he sacked a serial winner Mourinho before their cup final is enough evidence.

Man City scoring during ”Fergie time” against Arsenal…

Well I think that answered my first question. 😒

Thx for your inputs😁

The 2 game changing moments happened both after the added time.

The trossard challenge and kicking of the ball happened 1min after added time and the stones goal happened 20sec or more after the added time in the end.

Therefore both situations shouldn't have counted and it should be more than obvious that the refs are corrupt in city's favour.

I dunno guys, Rodri missing the remainder of the season is very bad news for City. As for Arsenal, maybe they look weaker right now but if Odegaard come back strongly, considering they are still getting some good results, I think they will do a very solid seasons.

Chelsea are starting to look better and better, something that was true near the end of the last season, I would expect them to do well this season, especially if Colwill and Fofana stay healthy, people don't realize that last season it was Chelsea defense that hurt them the most.

Its United I'm most worried about, but they recruited a lots and players and they might need time to incorporate them to their squad. We will see.

I agree with everything.

But personally, I think the main battle for the trophy this season will be between Liverpool and Arsenal. City won't be able to maintain the same level of football as in previous years.

I'm worried about Man United, they need to get rid of Ten Hag, he seems kind of clueless, although maybe it's not time yet.

Chelsea did not look that bad against City in the opener, and they have one of the youngest squads in a long time. Once they jell, they might make some noise.

🤣 Liverpool lost to forest at home that's an obvious sign they won't be challenging for the title. City are still favourites even without rodri but we have a better chance than previous seasons only if we keep our first team players fit which is unlikely. Therefore City will win it again.
