• Play in the EPL until November 1st
• Play in the first 3 matches of the CL
• Play in the World Cup
• Play in the Copa America next year
• Enter any stadiums
• Be involved with any transfers (i.e. being sold)
• Train with his club

Until FIFA can explain Liverpool's situation in more detail, it seems Liverpool will have to still pay Suarez 3m despite not playing AND training for them for 4 months.

Liverpool are also in pot 3 of the CL, meaning they have a very high chance of being in a group of death. Their chances of advancing the group stages just got harder.

Well from that 4 months, in July there are not any fixtures so he got banned just from August, September, October, which I think is a bit less than I expected. I think he deserved longer ban, although I see him leaving in January to La Liga.

FIFA has clarified he can transfer if Liverpool and Suarez believe that is the best choice for both parties.

Suarez has been fined 86,000 English Pounds.

Yeah here is something to cry about for Suarez . I think he should have been banned 20 international matches . Nicolas Anelka was banned for 18 matches when he started little revolt against Dominique . This man right here bite another human being . Make it measurable for him .

FIFA can suspend him for 2 years, and they do this. Once again they are just confirming that they total joke.

^I actually thought this was a great move by FIFA. Maybe an extra month in the all-football ban, but other than that it is really good.

I feel as though he needs professional help. I'm serious about this. I don't mean it in an insulting or condescending manner. It's clear that he manifests his stress or frustration outward (biting). I mean three times is a problem people. He needs help from psychiatrists or therapists to control such outbursts.

Disgusting by FIFA.. if this gives him a 4 month ban then tackles and deliberate elbows where people are really hurt should give more than a years ban... i dont think the punishment will have any effect even, i think this reaction from suarez lies in his subcontiouness and the root may be found in childhood troumas. Put things in perspective people!

Besides the must disgusting act this WC has to be the disrespect Levezzi showed his coach, Lavezzi must be defenition of the word "c-u-n-t", I couldnt even see Suarez do that...

@knibis: Lavezzi explained in an interview that was to calm down his nervous coach as a joke, and that he does that sort of stuff all the time with him during training. That is more of a friendly relationship between the boss and worker than a disrespectful act.
