Hi everyone!

You may have noticed that commenting system on match pages has been slightly improved.

• Users/Guests filters
• Infinite scrolling instead of paging system
• Better and cleaner UI design
• Unified commenter interface with the forums one

The filters should definitely help people who do not want to see comments from guests. The infinite scrolling will ease the reading of comments by allowing one to just keep clicking "Load More" for more comments.

Some more additions will come in the next few days to the commenting system.

You should implement the "load more"instead of the pages system to the forum as well... people spend more time commenting on the forum than on the highlights so that would be nice.

FootyRoom there's a glitch whenever you post comments on the forum and hihglights this annoying box pops up with a retarded message making no sense dunno if im the only one facing this problem or everyone but i want FootyRoom to solve it

Thanks for feedback, the bugs should be fixed that Jim and Mrarsenal500 submitted. (Shift+F5 refresh just in case).

We increased the character limit to 800 and 15000 for match comments and forum posts respectively. This should allow very long posts and still protect us against silly attackers. 

Regarding the feature requests:

• Polls - great idea, will be done, but don't expect it very soon.
• Emoticons - probably not, will have to think about that again though.
• Show main comment in top comments in case it's a reply - will be done soon.
• Reply button in forums - although sounds like it could help to keep the conversation more structured it wil break the linearity of it. Latest comments will no longer appear at the end of the topic. We feel like a quote feature will be more suitable. 

The latest comments update has broken the notification feature and we will be fixing/upgrading that soon.

@Footyroom Thanks for all the improvements. Having a question poll would help a lot in the forum. As for the emoticons please don't! :) <- this one is enough we don't want a yellow smiley face. I kindly request you to add the post and comment timing if it's possible :) Thanks again.

We have added the feature to edit your comments. It works only in highlights section right now, but we will make it work in forums during the weekend.

Regarding the previous ranking system update: we found a few mistakes we did and now it's fixed. @ironfist2010 you seem to be at #1 spot once again. 

@MRarsenal500, the best/worst comments have been fixed, and the glitch you reported in another post is also fixed.

We may be getting rid of FR rank in the near future, to be replaced by "respect" that you earn through positive posts/comments and maybe a few other things.

Also, until now the comments count only increased from contributing to forums. From now it accounts for highlights section comments too. We will be reviewing those numbers and updating to correct values soon. There will be a way for one to see how many comments are made in forums vs highlights section.

I noticed old comments made in the highlights section have turned from registered users to guest comments. Is that a bug or is it purposely done?
