Why is the X! a joke? all are great players. But would have liked to see Lahm in there..

Nah, other leagues don't even exist apparently. La liga wasn't even in the CL final and they get all the spots? Is this some kind of cruel joke? RVP for Falcao, Marcelo out Lahm in. Pique?? really? pique out Chiellini in. Xavi out Pirlo in.

Aparrently the other countries don't exist in Fifa's map...that's a bad joke, Fifa is a joke, this prize is a joke.

A scandal in my opinion. Like I said before, this looks very strange. If anyone in a factual way can tell me how La Liga deserves to cover every single one of the spots in the Team of the Year - please tell me.

As Zakzook explains, neither Barca nor Real were in the final of the Champions league. I think the main problem of FIFA regarding this "honorable" and "prestigious" team (yes, I'm using quotes since I don't see the value of the words related to this team anymore) is that they look way too much in the past. Present is present. It's an enormous wonder there were not a single Bayern or Chelsea player in this team (Juventus and Dortmund can be added as well for that matter). La Liga doesn't deserve this. Either you want to confess it or not, that's simply the fact. NOT DESERVED.

I could easily see Buffon or Cech in front of Casillas, Lahm should have been there instead of Alves(?!), while names such as Kompany, Hummels, Pepe, Thiago Silva, Pirlo, Touré and more deserved to be there instead of Pique, Alonso and Xavi. Disastrous.

I'm sorry. I just can't get past that jacket. Didn't anyone pull him aside and offer a black marker to fix it?
