EA just loves Barcelona the way I love Chelsea, but I'm a bit more realistic than them ;)
It's not just about the ratings, you might see 2 players under the same ratings but their skills are different.

I wonder how Fifa will underrate Tottenham's 7 new players or the EPL's top clubs players in general.. and what is worst is when they underrate the likes of Benteke because he plays for Aston Villa but if he plays for any of the top 4 EPL teams his rating would be a bit different.. and if he plays for Barcelona he would be 90+ or at least 89 rated. EA's Logic. :)

@Alex

I think you're being visibly biased there.

You're bumping up the ratings of all EPL players or players who have played in the EPL, and lowering the ratings of other players.

Like you lowered the rating of Navas from 85-84. Have you ever watched a Sevilla match? I can bet my money that you didn't at all last season. You even told me yourself that you only watch the EPL. So what right do you have in your judgment to lower Navas' rating?

You also lowered Thiago Silva form 87 to 85. I mean, he's the best defender in the world, no question about it. You're saying that Ashley Cole is better than Thiago Silva? That's hardcore bias man.

Here's a whole bunch more you posted where I think you're being too biased.

Hazard 85-88
Tevez - 86-88
Pedro 85-84
Busquets 85-84
Lewandowski 86-89
Cavani 87-90
Aguero 88-90

You're just skyrocketing the ratings to match whichever teams you favor or like. The boosts of all the Chelsea players, and the downfall of a lot of Spanish players makes me see that very visibly. :/

I watched the 3 games he played and there is no much difference between 85/84 ratings. as for Hazard he was 87 in Fifa 13 and if any change should happen for his ratings it should go up and not down because he is just getting better and better, but EA are biased. anyways his potential rating after 3 seasons is between 94-96. You can ask all the EPL supporters or just simply check their ratings, Arsenal for example they underrated many players and the same goes for Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool, Man Utd and so on. If you check the EPL ratings you would notice that there are a lot of good players rated 79 by EA while they boost La Liga players all the times. You don't think that RVP, Cavani & Aguero deserves a 90 ratings? Trust me if they are playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona they would be 91/92 rated. as for Tevez yes he deserves an 88 ratings at least and he doesn't play in the EPL anymore. same for Suarez. Besides I can't update the ratings online since I don't have xbox live so I have to do them manually at the start of the season and no I don't change or touch the spanish league ratings they are always an 85-94 rated but I do change realistically all the EPL players ratings a bit more based on their last & current season performance and stats. It's not like I'm making all the EPL players over powered, there will be no fun playing the game anymore. But changing them a bit with a more deserved ratings. I'm not arguing btw :) I'm just giving my opinion and that's my way of enjoying Fifa on high difficulty settings.

EA's Logic: Valdes has been always a better Goalkeeper than Cech... :)

Real Madrid ratings for me would be this way:

Casillas - 87
Diego Lopez - 85

Arbeloa - 82
Ramos - 86
Pepe - 83
Varane - 82
Marcelo - 85
Coentrao - 84
Nacho - ? (I have no idea who he is tbh)
Carvajal - 81

Alonso - 86
Modric - 86
Isco - 84 (Normally as a 20 years old and such a talented player, if he was playing in the EPL his rating would be 79 max.)
Ronaldo - 93
Bale - 90 (Notice here: Just because he joined a La liga team they made him 90 he was 85 rated at Spurs..)
Khedira - 84
Jese - 81
Casemiro - ? (No Idea who he is)
Illarramendi - 83
Di Maria - 84

Benzema - 85
Morata - 79

@Alex

No, they re-do the ratings every year. Bale was 85, but he will be changed in FIFA 14. The reason they don't make the ratings for new FIFA games in updates on old ones is so that people buy the new FIFA games. It means that they'll never update Bale to 90 on FIFA 13 so that people buy FIFA 14 to use 90 rated Bale.

And no, they would never make Aguero or Cavani a 92 even if they played for RM or Barca. You DO realize that a 92 rating would mean that they are on par with Ronaldo, right? That's impossible. The only players with a 90+ rating at Ronaldo, Ribery, Falcao, and Messi.

And I disagree with your opinion on giving a 90 rating to Cavani and Aguero because you are basically saying that Aguero is a better player than Iniesta (89). Considering that Aguero scored a measly 17 goals in 40 appearances for City last year, there is no way he is superior to Thomas Muller's 23 goals in 47 games. Especially after you consider that Muller is a winger and Aguero a striker (Muller has a rating of 85 on your list by the way). I cannot fathom how you would ever rate Aguero at 90 after his poor season last year. He was not anything like he was in City's title winning season.

And for your information, Hazard was an 85 in FIFA 13. I just went on and updated all data and re-checked. He is 85. He has not done anything to be rated only ONE point below Xavi and Iniesta. That is just plain rude to Xavi and Iniesta.

Still not convinced you're being overly biased?

PS. Watching Navas play a measly 3 games gives you no right to change his rating from 85 to 84. I've watched him all season long, and he fully deserves a 85.

lol.. Benteke is 79 rated, I know that I don't watch La Liga, but I at least watch the highlights. and I'm sure as heck that EA don't watch the EPL, not even the highlights.

@Alex

Did you not read what I said? They will update Benteke in FIFA 14. It is marketing, so they will never change Benteke's rating in FIFA 13 to match the one in FIFA 14. You can bet your money that he will be 80/81 in FIFA 14. Trust me.

You do realize that Iniesta and Aguero play in a different role right? also why they don't downgrade those players for aging? or that just happens in the EPL? Like they always downgrade Lampard but no one can touch Iniesta or Xavi.

Real Madrid 483 7140

@Alex

That's one thing I agree with you on. Lampard should be an 85 on my list.

And I realize that Iniesta and Aguero play different roles, but read what I said about Aguero and Muller, and you'll get my point. And the whole point of the "overalls" is to show which player is better than which, regardless of positions. Only the legends of the game deserve a 90 rating, and Aguero is not one of them. He is not better than Iniesta in football, simple as that.

Benteke deserves more than 80/81. For example, I don't see Benzima achieving the same or better than Benteke at Aston Villa. they should at least be fair with those kind of players regardless of the team they are playing at.

Hazard was an 87 when FIFA 13 first came out, but they updated him to 85.

You think Benzema can't help Aston Villa reach 15th place in the EPL? ;)

Because that's all Benteke "helped" them to. If Benzema was the focus of Madrid's attack, he'd score around 40 goals in a season. I know that because he scored 32 goals in a season once. A season where CR7 scored 60 goals, and Benzema had to share time with Higuain, who scored 26 goals. So if Benzema can do that by sharing the spotlight with 4 other players, I can clearly see him scoring 20+ goals for Villa and helping them to a higher league table finish than Benteke did. :)

And just so you know, Xavi and Iniesta's ratings dropped by -2. They used to be 91's , but fell to 89's now. So no, they are not "untouchable".

And just how you said it, you don't watch La Liga, so please refrain from commenting or criticizing it. :)
