I agree but i think barca will get him a lot cheaper than 100 mill, i mean who wouldn't want to play for barca?

Someone who prefers being cool and praised like a god instead of being a player among the rest and consistently under pressure...

If Barca get Verratti, then Europe's power is going to get tilted. Verratti himself can make a team look twice as good.

@chelsea8

That is what fans used to say about Ancelotti tnen he got fired . Same about Mourinho . Conte is not messiah that is so different to other managers . Handling of Costa has concerned Roman and when Roman likes players , he tends to take their side . Roman will stay out of this one but soon as Conte goes a season with nothing , he will be out faster than a text he sent to Costa . You know the drill mate !

Why Barcelona doesn't take in someone from the academy instead of spending all money on Verratti? Is he THAT needed?
Halilovic, Sergi Samper can come back to Barcelona, and they can spend their money on getting another Center Back and Bellerin.

Lol it had to be costa right? Why not someone else why is it always costa? Conte did the right thing, if conte didn't throw him out then we would be fked in January when costa tries to force a move to atletico just like this year.
Ancelotti was fired because roman was desperate to win the ucl as soon as possible.
Don't forget that conte is the only manager out of those that came to this club when we ended fking 10th and managed to win the title lol. I follow chelsea very closely and i think that this is the time that roman has decided to stay with manager for longer time than before.
Conte is also someone who acts very fast and doesn't give a damn about the player whether the player is the best in the world or not.
getting rid of costa is better than having him in the team and causing more problems, remember when he just decided to play like crap from january?

I would love to see in Barcelona another type of player with different qualities from Verratti since they already can play without him as if he was there, their current players have no problem with keeping the ball.

For example, IMO a perfect fit for less money would be Radja Nainggolan.

He can say that he will stay in Roma when Inter wants him but would he refuse to join Barcelona? Don't think so and he can be an easy signing giving the fact that Luis Enrique coached AS Rome he could have a role in that transfer by recommending it from the side, the two clubs have a better relationship than PSG and Barcelona for sure.

The only big pro for Verratti is his age, so that can justify his price tag.

Didn't Griezmann say something like the only team he'd leave Atletico for is the New York Knicks?

i'd pay the 100m for verratti but that won't really be enough. iniesta's getting old now and rakitic is good but not as good as before so imo we still need more midfielders. herrera would be great.

Interesting news, still think its gonna be next to impossible for any team to buy Verratti at that price though.

@lio Sadly, Mou said Herrera wasn't up for sales, he is exactly the kind of player Mourinho seems to love. Because he is smart, good in defense... and dirty to a certain level. :P

Anyway, here the rumours I heard:

  • Javier Pastore want to leave PSG, just like Verratti. The club doesn't seem very open to it though...
  • Valère Germain and Steve Mandanda will possibly be the 2 first recruit of Marseille this transfer window.
  • Marseille would also try to sign Adil Rami this summer.
  • Lyon owner is saying that if PSG is interested in Alexandre Lacazette, he would be ready to sell him to them for the right amount.
  • PSG would like to get Renato Sanches. However, it might be hard to get him for an reasonable amount.
  • Ismaïla Sarr, a young french prospect would interest Barca.
  • Talking about Barca, heres a list of player they are interested in to strengthen their depth in attack: Vitolo, Deulofeu, Douglas Costa, Ousmane Dembele, Coutinho, Mahrez, Gelson Martins
  • Conte want Insigne.
  • Sevilla want Nolito and Navas and won't sell Vitolo and N'zonzi for less than their release clause.
  • Mourinho would have lost interest in Fabinho after all.
  • Oscar Garcia should join AS Saint-Etienne on a 2 year contract.

Official:

  • Eljero Elia leave Feyenoord and sign with İIstanbul Başakşehir
  • Hector Moreno leave PSV to join AS Roma.
  • The LFP announce Ranieri can join Nantes despite his age.

@chelsea8 @Emobot: Morata seems like a non-cunt version of Diego Costa. Dwells too much on the ball, doesn't know when to release a pass, drifts a lot to the wings, selfish, average technique and finishing etc. I wouldn't pay half of the sum he's rumoured to leave for.

You're still 99% getting Lukaku and United will probably get Morata, Arsenal better make a move on Lacazette finally.
