@Sunflash Lindelof to Manchester United is a done deal, he just need to pass the medical. Any thought now that United have confirmed their first new recruit? Anyway, the move was for about £30,7M. Not bad imo. :)

Anyway, seem like PSG interest in Aubameyang is cooling off. Wonder if he will move after all and if he does, will he go to PSG? Or to another team?

Also, seem like Milan won't be able to sign Keita Balde Diao who was on their wishlist. Seem they are readying themselve to go for Nicola Sansone instead.

We were linked pretty closely with him in the winter, so I'm not really surprised. At the same time I'm a bit hesitant about another CB, Bailly is a starter, and Rojo is one when he's healthy now I guess. Plus Smalling, Jones (who will hopefully get transferred), Blind, and youngsters, I'm not sure why we needed another CB. Defense is not United's problem, and hasn't been for awhile.

@Sunflash Well, I'm supposing Jose want something like 3 or 4 recruit, who will all be specialist in some area. I expect Smalling or Jones to be transfered soon though and propably, Mou will switch Bailly, Lindelof, Blind and the other remaining CB (propably Smalling) to keep the team fresh when there is a lot of game going on. Anyway, the other recruits after that should be a midfielder, a winger and an striker, or something similar.

Thank you for the reply, and please do not apologize, it's all good. My bad not replying earlier too.

Lol you got that right.

Seriously though, am I the only one who doesn't rate Lukaku? Yes he scores, but I don't feel he's a big game changer or worthy of replacing Costa to let alone compete for titles or Champions League. Even in 2012 he refused to hold the trophy. That is loser mentality to me.

Signing another CB is one thing, signing a Mourinho-type of CB is another thing. Let's be aware that Mourinho is still in the process of building his own team rather than adapting to what's already there. Lindelof is a good signing imo.

@Amir Your not the only one who consider Lukaku like a downgrade to Costa but its not like Chelsea have any choice now. Conte already made it clear he doesn't want Costa and the best striker Chelsea can hope to get right now is Lukaku, since they managed to strike a deal with the player already, there is no going back. They just need to convince Everton now. :(

@iHEART What is a Mourinho type CB though? I'm asking out of curiosity as I'm not sure what you mean by that. Sorry if it make me seem like a novice. ;P

If Next season Don Antonio fails then Costa decision will be haunting him . Mourinho's decision to cut off Eva from medical team turned quickly things upside down . Then fans turned on a man who never used to speak ill of us while being with other clubs, into serious opponent . Wait till next season Jose will have United up and running and will have his squad extra motivated to get points against us or take us out of the cups just like he used to prepare Chelsea against United.

I have feeling Conte will go down the same way. Team will betray him then " god damn " glory fans will follow !

Back to the topic of transfers . I also have hard time believing that Lukaku is what will help us to win major throphies . It is a downgrade from experienced hot blooded Costa ! I will be very surprised if United makes a sudden move for Costa !! Lol Why not ?? Mourinho likes him and needs a world class striker . Cheap option and ready to move . Maybe weather will be discouragement for Diego but not like he has a lot of clubs knocking on his door .

@Marcus Sadly, your not wrong but Mou already seem set to do whatever it take to get Morata. He might also try to move for Belotti so unless they don't manage to get one of those two, I don't think he will move for Costa.

@Eden17 Well... no choice but to wait and see. But I mostly agree with you. Lukaku is not as good as Costa. He can be brillant at time but he isn't constant enough and also add very little to the defensive effort of the team. Worse, I doubt he will be as clinical as Costa was at Chelsea and I worry he will need more occasion than Costa to get goals. :S

@Madridista Lol, I do not expect this to be true, but who noses! XD

Anyway, here are the rumours of the day!

  • Juventus are looking set to sign Wojciech Szczesny from Arsenal. The keeper have done enough in Roma to convince the old lady that he could be the long term replacement of Buffon.
  • Morata would have talked to Gareth Bale about joining him at United, proof that Morata to MU is ever likely.
  • Chelsea and PSG are now both strongly interested in James Rodriguez. My only steak with those move is that James could deal with a similar problem that he already had at Real if he moved to either of those team who have plenty of player in midfield.
  • Chelsea would be close to sign Monaco man Tiemoue Bakayoko and hope to annouce his arrival this week.
  • Everton are linked with £20M move for Klaasen.
  • Barca are targeting a number of winger like Ousmane Dembele, Douglas Costa and Riyad Mahrez.
  • Chelsea are preparing a 50M euro move for Alex Sandro
  • Marco Verratti is believed to have told PSG he wanted to move. Al-Khelafi doesn't seem open to letting him leave and Verratti will cost around 80M euro.
  • Liverpool hope of getting Stefan de Vrij have been boosted after the defender confirmed with Lazio he wouldn't sign a contract extension with them.
  • Liverpool also want to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain and hope to stop from signing a new contract with Arsenal.
  • West Ham and Marseille are both interested in signing Olivier Giroug who himself wouldn't be against a move to improve his playing time.
  • Ibra could possibly join LA Galaxy.
  • Everton are close on Sandro in a move worth £5.2M
  • Arsenal could also be interested in James Rodriguez.

Official news:

  • Gnabry to Bayern... Yeeeeeeaaaaaaaah... Seriously, what is the kid thinking, I mean, he never gonna get any playing time. :(

You can't go wrong with antonio conte's methods which is work work and work, you don't play good enough? Fine conte will bench you.

Lukaku would be even get better under conte, lukaku is only 24 and scored a lot of goals, he has a better touch than most of the strikers and yet people pick on him, and the most important thing is that he loves the club!

Also don't expect the board to reveal any signings until we reveal our new kits.

@Emo,

Seriously, what is the kid thinking, I mean, he never gonna get any playing time. :(

Why not tho? Gnabry can play both winger/striker role. And we saw Lewandowski needs ocassional rest (and Gnabry could also hop in if there is injury). Plus both Robben and Ribery are old, and Douglas Costa will probably leave for Juventus.

So the downfall of Arsenal begins.

Emobot7

There's been times that he did say he doesn't like England, but the passion for his club was second to none. Lukaku on the other hand refused to hold Champions League with his teammates because he couldn't play ahead of Drogba. Drogba was never going to come off for someone like Lukaku. No offense, but that's pushing it.

Although I'm not going to complain. I would not mind seeing Chelsea getting weaker :)

Gnabry leaves Arsenal because he wanted more playing time, 1 year later he joins Bayern.
Btw. Bayern already funded half of the transfer from Arsenal to Werder, that's the reason Arsenal didn't get a buy-back clause for him.
