Controversial decision on Hummels' tackle (he grabs MBappé's arm and tackles him before touching the ball), maybe it was just karma for his own goal.

The offside flag man is the dumbest person i've ever seen in my entire life. He lets Kylian Mbappe dance with the ball for almost 10 seconds without raising the flag then as soon as Kylian scores he wants to raise the flag....not even that but then that Pogba's pass to Kylian then to Benzema as Benz scores the flag was down all the way from Pogba's pass but the fucking dumbass flagman wanted to call that offside WHERE DID THEY FIND THIS DUMBASS REMOVE HIM ASAP!!!!!!!!!! IT CANNOT TAKE YOU MOR THAN 10 SECONDS TO RAISE THE FUCKING FLAG!!!!! fucking dumbass flag man

It's a frustating rule, but still a rule.

France didn't need to go past 1st gear, it ended up being an easy win

LOL people who think Germany deserves a point don't understand football. Also horrible referee, CLEAR penalty not given, fauls not given to France (like Gosens on Pavard). Lloris almost didnt have to stop anything whereas Rabiot hit the post and we scored twice with millimeters off side (both were offside for sure, but just shows how we were way more dangerous). Every player defended and we played as a team on both attack and defence.
And to those who think France won't win playing like that, remember that we were playing Germany... And a good german side at that. 3 points, no goals conceded, no yellow card, moving on.

I know thats what i'm saying, not everybody appreciate tactics and defensive play, and its ok. But the more you uunderstand the sport the more you enjoy those types of game. Same with other sports... Some 0-0 games can be very entertaining (rare i must say, but still). I'm jut saying I enjoyed a few games already and I'm sure I'm not the only one :)

Yea I know but most games are just back and sideways with both teams scared to go at each other. I don't mind 0-0 or 1-0 games but I just wanna see teams go for each other. This game Germany looked like they were shitting themselves whereas people hyped their attack which is a disappointment

Yes I'll give you that, specially in the beginning both team played a little scared (which is understandable). HOWEVER, Germany did play very well. I think we have here 2 of the best teams of the tournament (based on this game). Not every team can defend on Germany's attacks like France did. When 2 strong teams play against one another people expect fireworks and goals but just look at the team's quality in midfield, it's a very though game. I personally enjoyed it, I think both teams can go far, and I believe the result is fair.

Did you watch the game? France had more chances & attacking plays than even higher scoring games, like Belgium vs Russia.

Well, if your only criteria is the number of goals scored, maybe, but I think too there's much more to football. To me, this was the best game so far, with such a high intensity from beginning to end and some quality play from both teams.

Hopefully France first! Crazy to think that any of these 3 teams could reach the finals without surprising anybody that much. We can even have these 3 teams in the semis

Totally disagree. This is how they played in the 2018 WC run (probably better here). It's pragmatic and direct.

You do realise its Germany right? Maybe the only team that can compete with this french team. And they still won.

Then they should have shot at least once on target, only they didn't. Germany move the ball around like no other team, but they've lacked efficiency for years now, just like Spain. That's precisely why they lost to Korea (I think it was South Korea) in the last WC.
