I dont get Ruediger's attitude, scratching his shoes on Pavard's neck at the begining... Why ?? This is almost a friendly game.

no he doesnt just miss one chance, he also miss chances in important games like against Mexico and Korea remember, and hes not realy false nine who assist goal scoring wingers like Giroud for france, or Benzema or Firmino for their clubs, so he cant assist or scoring, just can defend as Winger and 2nd Striker ? if he was team leader why he doesnt get bashed like Ozil ? at England we have racism history but we dont blame criticize and bashing non white first at modern day, u can see team leader like Rooney and Henderson always get criticize first no matter if they were white aryans or not.

I'm surprised France didn't lose on their return. It mustn't be easy to find a new motivation after achieving every footballer's biggest dream. How do you not ask yourself "And now what?"

What the fucking crap is nations league? Who came up with this (COMPLETELY NOT) brilliant idea???

Iker89 8 years ago

Real Madrid 0 813

for me France was one of those lucky WC winners, defensive football helped by refereeing mistakes(?) in the final

Barraca 8 years ago

Barcelona, France 0 245

Defensive football = 11 goals in 4 WC knockout stage games? Impressive logic...

Playing against the Germans is always though... 0-0 in Munich is not a bad result.

France's 3rd goal keeper did as good as Lloris today, if not better!!!

France has been boring for years, too bad their anti football and ref mistakes helped them win the WC

@Iker89 (a.k.a. the France hater) Come on, France vs Argentina was one of the best WC match you'll ever see. And what about a WC final with 6 goals that's still got you talking about it?

They needed a scape goat for the bad performance and Özil was it mostly due to political issues. Özil created the most scoring chances during the finals, but he can't be effective if you have Werner upfront and also Muller's underperformance didn't help. Unfortunately, some people think that football is all about who runs the most or shows emotions even though that alone won't win games.

Such a boring game... Lately France and German national teams matches are so boring.. Playing for a 1-0 or a draw...

In the meantime, France has 12 games udefeated. In those 12 games they scored 23 goals. Oh and we won a world cup. As a french supporter, I am entertained :)

Iker89 8 years ago

Real Madrid 0 813

23 goals is not very much, France are playing defensive football, the only reason you are entertained is you won the title, otherwise you would be the first to criticise.. and dont forget you got handed the WC final with 2 referee mistakes vs Croatia, it was far from convincing

Barraca 8 years ago

Hey Codrut, watched any World Cup lately?

You clearly don't see how important muller is, he tracks back and is a real team leader.. just because he missed one chance, you say he is germany's worst player??
I saw Mbappe missing plenty of chances, but..

Muller is one of the guys I hate and admire at the same time. I hate how much he is acting to get refs decision. But other than that.. he is the most annoying player to play against you: never give up, always aggressive, always active - such a pain in the ass. Great leader for a team really.

M4tti87 8 years ago

Müller was not playing well at the world cup. He got harshly criticized for that over in Germany just like other players. Who says Özil got a harsher bashing because of his performance? Do you live in Germany have you read our news? Why do you bring racism up when racism was never an issue? Racism has nothing to do with being criticized when you play shitty. Özil did something stupid and was hiding the whole time. No statement nothing. Müller, Boateng, Hummels, Neuer and Kroos all went to the reporters after the games aknowledged that they played bad and were pretty critical towards themselves. That is why Müller, Neuer and Hummels for example are considered team leaders. NOBODY said only Özil played shitty. You must have false informations.
To Müller, well his statistics speak for him.

I agree with you. Why they specifically pointed fingers at Ozil but not other under performers. Even kroos attacked teammate ozil and defended big mouthed Germany fa members..

M4tti87 8 years ago

0 4

@diehardbarca WHO? who pointed fingers only at Özil? Nobody blamed Özil alone. Nobody said its Özils fault we played bad.Everybody got blamed equally. Where do yall get this false informations from?

Iker89 8 years ago

Real Madrid 0 813

M4tti87.. well said, everyone got criticised.. and for those who are Ozil fanatics just take a look at one fact, in the matches that he started in the WC, Germany lost, just saying

Mauricio_elmessiah 8 years ago

iker so in the matches that germany lost, only ozil started, fuck your logic!!

@LOSTerry
Muller was bundesliga top assister last season and has been the golden boot. he also scored over 20 goals in one season as a CAM. He is not in his prime but is still world class at what he does.
