It was clearly intentional, the moment I saw it I knew. I don't think he was deliberately targeting Salah in order to injure, but he would lock his arm on ANY player who would get tangled up with him that way. THAT is what makes Ramos is the most disgusting player ever. He actually GOT the ball, cleanly!!! Absolutely unnecessary to hold on to Salah like he did, but there was no mind involved, this guy is an animal, it is his instinct, he did not think 'I am going to do this', he just DID. Ban this asshole from playing, FIFA, do the right thing. There is NO winner of the 2017/18 Champions league. Only loosers. Shame!

You're taking this way too far. Ramos maybe deserved a red card for that action but a ban would be taking it too far. It all took place in less than a second, and the initial challenge was a good one until he started falling and grabbed his arm. And plus Ramos isn't even the worst player Madrid had. Remember Pepe? Only god knows how that cunt is still allowed to play football lmao.

Who knows if what ramos did to Mo Salah was intentional. But one thing is for certain, our attack just turned off after salah. Firmino had no one to support him on the left side, and Lallana clearly showed his lack of match fitness. Sadio Mane was on top form, he was giving marcelo a big problem, but besides that we were lack luster. We need more depth, we need more time. This is our first season in the UCL, after years, and we made it to the final, shows how good our boys are. Now we got to utilize this loss, recover, and push back in future seasons' to come.YNWA!

klopp was right, the first 30 mins when mo was still on, liverpool were running all over real madrid, the only salvation madrid had was varane at the back, none of the other madrid players could keep up with the pace of mane and salah alternating runs on both wings, notice how the wingbacks were marauding forward exchanging little passes with the wingers on both sides with confidencehow wijnaldum had the confidence to carry out his little one twos and when he's clamped he'd just lay it over to the far side of either wing and there's always a goalscorer waiting, liverpool were playing one of their finest football this season.
2

Germany 0 91
when salah came off, the threat was gone, the burden was on mane, he was clamped and had to work extra hard because he's the only one with enough pace to penetrate the line, the attacks failed they started to lose the ball, real madrid started having posession and making forward passes and it was downhill from there, lallana couldnt do much tho i respect his passion, it was a very weird final, i dont want to take anything away from gareth bale, but this win seems really suspect, and i always rooted for real madrid in their last 3 cl finals.

hopefully there's a silver lining for mo from this. he's been brilliant for a couple of seasons already. people always make a case of him being liverpool's diva and everyone had to work so he can play good, that he can't playmake like messi or consistently be on the scoresheet like ronaldo, this match was proof of how much he meant for liverpool, he was off and everyone started to have doubts, hopefully he can make it to the world cup, make an impact, and win the balon d or, he deserved it. such a great player, an even better person.

Yeah I agree the first 30 mins was excactly how a CL final should be, high quality football etc. but ultimately ruined by Ramos and Karius. Luka Modric prying the reins away from our midfielders, i just hope that the lads can take something awway from the game, if not the trophy. I hope they become mentally stronger

Why would City fans be butthurt when they won the PL and set plenty of records including 100 points and also won the Carabao Cup while enjoying Manchester United lose the FA Cup final and come out of the season with absolutely nothing. I think that would be a reason for United fans to be butthurt. But then again, everyone knows you aren't a real United fan so...

Yes my comment got downvotes. As if I care (obviously I don't). Clearly you care because you brought it up, so I might mention that despite all my comments that got downvote spammed, I still have a better upvote to downvote ratio than you.

Its funny how you sit there behind your keyboard, probably crying irl, and the only thing you can say is "yoURe buTThUrT" when if you really supported Man U (which you don't) you'd be the butthurt one after having a trash season and winning nothing despite spending so much.

Again, City and Barca fans both won doubles this season, while City set numerous records including 100 points and Messi won the Golden Boot again and tied for most assists, and also most goals in all competitions. There is no reason for either fans to be "butthurt"

Considering barca not long ago was heading toward an "invincible" season and Real madrid was tropyless it makes sense that so many of barcas fans are very salty when their team failed to become invincibles and their antagonist wins the biggest trophy. The biased comments thrown between the fans of these two tems are quite often laughable. Its always cheat, luck, ref, dirty etc
1

@_Pelle CL is not "most important" trophy in the eyes of most managers. Obviously it was for RM because the league was already gone, but numerous top managers say that the league is more important than the CL. Im not going Barca vs. Madrid and I don't support either team, but thats just the fact. And I didn't see the comment that you are replying to say any of "cheat", "luck", or "ref". He said what Ramos did was dirty, and it was. If you disagree then you're just a complete moron.

Why on earth would they admit it? Ramos represents a certain type of human on this planet, and those people identify with him and cover his ass. Right wing fascists, capitalistic pigs, mainstream trash loving douchbags, people who are boring, small time criminals, those with sub woofers in their new and ugly car. """winners""". I vomit on these people. That is what Ramos represents, that is what Madrid represent. Bale should get the fuck outta there.
The only people who don't realize that what Ramois did was intentional are either morons or they never played football. People who only watch and don't play are quite stupid when it comes to analyzing these things... I actually stopped hating Madrid as much. But now.. They represent evil. My hatred is siginficantly stronger than it ever was.

It's not politics... it's sociology, philosophy... The reason no one on TV was talking about this incident was exactly because it touches very controversial questions no one wants to get in to.. And btw in case you misunderstood I didn't mean the right wing as if it had something to do with him being Muslim, Ramos anti-Muslim or anything like that. What I meant was the global right wing as a social movement and a way of life and thinking and not one country or another's politics... The mentality of 'Let's fuck up this guy, who cares, as long as WE WIN'. Can you deny these people are also xenophobic and militant in most cases? Real are not champions. Fair play above all. Barcelona for example never had a player that injures on purpose or plays dirty on the level of Ramos, Pepe, etc...

Most people on the political right (not alt right or right wing terrorists obviously) don't think like that at all. Being a dirty football player has nothing to do with political or philosophical beliefs.
If they add VAR next season then this would stop being an issue as anyone who tries to do what Ramos did would get an instant straight red and possibly a ban depending on how intentional and how harmful.

I would even go as far as to say that diving should be a straight red card also, but with how clueless these refs are sometimes they could fuck up those decisions even with the VAR assistance.

He became bad after everyone wanted him executed after Euro2016 and he lost all his confidence. If you watched him back at City, he was a world class GK. Yes he still made mistakes back then but he also pulled off impossible saves sometimes. His fail at Euro and then getting loaned out by a club he was at for 10 years made him lose confidence and kill his career.

Yes Real deserved to win, but if Salah stayed on and Liverpool had a decent GK, I would say it would be a Liverpool win or at least go to overtime. Even without Salah, if you subtract the 2 free goals the Karius gave it would have been 1-1 overtime.

Dorty Ramos strikes again lol he gets off with everything yet hits the ground like he got shot when he barely gets touched, such a smart bastid. Man of the match should go to the guy who invaded the pitch at the end to deny Ronaldo his chance of getting on the score sheet, that mans a legend and Ronaldo's reaction was brilliant, I laughed so hard. Karius' goalkeeping blunders was the difference in this match as both teams were just as good as each other and it could of went either way. Salah or no Salah Liverpool looked like they were lost when he went off before half time but in the second half they looked like they didn't need him and even if he was on the pitch he still couldn't have done anything about Karius' mistakes. All in all it was still a good champions league final.

learn some humility, you guys are idiots defending a cunt like him. Dont cry later when other players intentionally injure Madrid Players. how retarded do you have to be to not see that he took Salah out on purpose. because Salah had his arm first, so he grabs him harder and drags him down? why didnt he try to pull out his arm? Is he disabled?
