Hmmm.....to score an own goal with just a minute to go in time added on; how painful is that? I'm afraid this sad episode is going to live in Bassett's memory for a while now.......i feel sorry for her :(

Well, at least the England women team advanced to the semis.Their men was struggling to just advancing to the last 16. In some edition, they were disqualified in group stages.

England is just unlucky. We have world class raw young talents such as Barkley, wilshere, welbeck, sterling, John stones, shaw, chamberlain , ward prowse, we are world class legendary team. Japan is lucky

first penalty was a free kick but since they changed the rules I guess but the second penalty kick was absolutely Bullshit the referee was trying to play a conscious game trying to make the game even but at the end of the day the game compensated for the referee's mistake !

How unlucky you have to be to score an own goal in last minute of semi-final, but such a beautiful goal tho..

Entirely different competition. It's impossible to compare the two.

I agree with Captain Jack. Female football is controlled pretty much by USA, Japan and Germany. Men's football is way more competitive so you can't compare the two.
