for those you critizing US mens national team. to be fair. for a sport US dont really care about being in the top 30 is pretty good. and really for the US Mens national team its only up. cant say the same for european teams or south american teams.

i have to admit: the US women can tuck away a good penalty.. most of them were side netted. BTW...i love the ssound the goal makes once the ball hits the net.

I quite like the US team. The keeper is not bad looking. The women team could possibly beat their men team. Let's hope that many of them don't have periods at the same time in the final...otherwise, there will be some ugly runs!

The USA could only score 1 goal against a 3 woman defense??????? How the fawk did the USA get ranked #1???? Sweden is making every team their bitch and have already beaten the USA TWICE this year alone. The USA better pray that Japan beats Sweden...if not, just give the Swedes the title. The USA deserved the red and the only bad call was the American NOT getting a 2nd yellow for the hand ball. Always some shyt excuse from USA fans......good luck.

USA played very well after getting down to 10 players in the second half. I closed my TV like 2 mins before its over as I couldn't bare watching such a hardworking team leaving the tournament but WOW! I pretty much missed the whole game. It sounds crazy but I really felt that it was just like one of those Hollywood movies with "happy ending" but only, of course, this is reality.

The whole world is so jealous of the USA, that even the referees are always giving the USA soccer teams a hard time for both the genders. The USA gets more red cards as compared to other countries. Someone should do a Ph.D. thesis on it.

Not going to happen. Jurgen Klinsmann said it best, Soccer is the sport of the poor internationally. In the U.S.A. they only like to play sports they created and we already have Basketball as our "sport of the poor". The MILLIONS of kids who play soccer here only do so to get scholarships to college, no one actually cares about playing it professionally, there's no money in it.
