@Everyone Else:

See, it really doesn't matter how long I, or anyone else, steps away. Every time I look back in, there is still this ignorant, anti-English biased little troll who can't seem to ever stop saying stupid things about a league he doesn't understand, and keeps on starting a fight about the leagues every chance he gets. If anyone said even half the crap about La Liga that he says about the PL, people like Dynast or ramaboy would call it out.

This anti-English, la liga fan boy bullshit is why FootyRoom (an English-speaking forum, no less) is crap, nowadays. Congratulations.

@Lodatz

There is no doubt that the likes of Suarez, Aguero, and Ibra are better than Costa. Costa simply relies on his strength and his ability to piss other people off to score. He is a disgusting player, but still a pretty good poacher. But players like Suarez and Ibra offer so much more to the table than just bullying defenses. Aguero himself can score from a 1 v 3 situation very easily (monstrous ability), Lewandowski is also more or less a free-scoring machine and an excellent poacher, and Muller is too versatile to be locked down as a striker (he is still one of the best players in the world for me). Costa is a good striker, but not that good.

@tiki: "Who is Michu by the way ?"

Oh, you've not heard of him? I thought you knew all about football. Have you heard, instead, of Gareth Bale?

He's the man who came from the 5th best team in the PL, for a world-record fee, and was busy last season scoring the winning goals in both the Copa del Rey and Champions League finals, fed all season by Luka Modric, who had helped Tottenham actually crack the Top 4 and defeat the reigning Champions League champions.

Yeah. Nothing good ever comes from the stupid old PL.

Except for La Decima, that is.

This topic is so retarded. I think for a year now every time you two join a thread it turns out to be EPL vs La Liga..

^ which is interesting, considering the fact that I've not been here, tiki_taka has always been here, and yet those arguments keep taking place.

I wonder what the difference could be... O.O

Just to say what i think..

I think for every individual it depends, for example for me i don't watch all the La liga teams and i don't watch all of EPL teams either. And i guess its like that for most people.

La Liga teams i watch :- Real Barca A.Madrid Valencia Sevila Villareal Malaga and Elche.
EPL Teams i watch:- Chelsea City United Spurs sometimes Arsenal and this season Southampton

I watch and enjoy all of those i mentioned its not about the league itself its a lot of things around it. Players Manager and the way i like to see football being played as i like it to be, and how important the game is. I just think for me La liga is more entertaining because my favorite team plays in it.

Lodatz is still lying, i showed you the thread before you disapeared, you though Lukaku or Benteke were better than Costa.
The thread was : Top 5 strikers of the moment, and i said that nobody mentioned Costa while he was obviously in top 5.
Never talked about Suarez, i rate Suarez higher than Costa but Costa was definitely top 5 thats all.

I know you hate me so much because you cant write your non sense in my presence, because you hate me reminding you that what you dream of isnt the reality.

This is my fu*ing opinion if you dont like it, dont comment at it. You disappear for obvious reasons come and throw your non sense about PL who are actualy struggling against CSKA Moscow, Anderlecht, Basel, Ludogretz and you think its because Hull City is world class that they get points against big 4 ?

You never change, still as stubborn as hell and this is why you disappear instead of facing it.

The actual fact is that only PL player of the year moves to Spain, and only Costa did the opposite move because Atleti isnt big enough to keep their stars, but they are working on.
Except Costa, no Liga star did the opposite way : Mata, Silva, Aguero, Yaya toure have all became superstars until they joined PL, In Spain they were very good but we couldnt notice this difference between them and the rest of the league.

I know Michu, i was just joking and in Spain he wasnt that popular than you think, you overpaid for him as usual i want to say.

Your presence here isnt annoying me as mine annoys you, so if you want to come back and do your biased things in your own threads, i wont jump on you like you do, because you cant let someone write something you dont like.

There is a place for everyone in a forum, if you cant learn to hear opposite view than yours, than you have just to do what you usually do, disappear in silence.
Or you can stay, and try to convince others that you point is valid, and understand that opposite views have their place as well, youre not the one who got the truth it doesnt work like this.

if you care much about the forum why dont you just stop disappearing ?Come stay and give some contribution...

Fooyroom will stay with or without us, if you wait for people begging you to stay, you dont need nobody to stay and contribute here. Internet is a place of freedom of speech and its better like this, so getover it and come back soon if you think the forum needs you, stop asking stupid questions whether or not the forum will be better or not with you and just stay, that will at least proove me that you are a better person than i think you are, because you are disapointing ( me at least ).

"Mata, Silva, Aguero, Yaya toure have all became superstars until they joined PL. "

Mata , Silva and Aguero were all in development when they joined . Silva not so much , because he was regular starter in Spain national team that won 2008 European Championship.

Yaya Toure solid starter at Barcelona during his time in La Liga , suddenly was not a superstar at the time ?

You know tikie you will go extra mile with bias claims just to back your argument . You are ready to even throw your ex player under the train to back your argument who was instrumental in 2009 CL campaign .

@Salahadin: Everyone has their reasons for preferring one league or another, sure. You like La Liga more? No problem at all. That's the thing: we can all agree to disagree over which league we LIKE more, but there's a certain fan boy element who just has to start a fight over it, every time, because they can't stand other people disagreeing.

@tiki:

"Lodatz is still lying, i showed you the thread before you disapeared, you though Lukaku or Benteke were better than Costa."

What bullshit. I said that I would rather keep the 32m spent on Costa and focus on developing Lukaku, because I don't see Costa doing anything that Lukaku cannot do, just more consistently.

Stop lying about your past.

See, you can witter on as much as you like about me 'disappearing', and yet you seem to never actually understand the POINT of me 'disappearing'. The point is: I can't be bothered to spend my free time arguing with someone like you, who never admits they are wrong, never changes their trolling and never stops insulting the PL, English football and English fans because you're too much of a child to admit that you were wrong in a fight with Lodatz. It's not worth it for me to be around, and endure your crap.

This is all about YOU, tiki, not me, and certainly not my 'disappearance'. The fact that I can 'disappear' for months at a time, poke my head in and notice, on the very first thread I see YOU starting a fight with someone over the leagues shows what the actual problem is. It's YOU.

That's the constant. That's what never changes. YOU keep being a troll, and the problem just continues.

And when people, like me, point out the problem? You hide behind this 'freedom of speech' crap, or how it's 'just your opinion' or whatever, and never grow up. When I walk away, I'm doing the ADULT thing to do. You just do the childish thing, over and over. Just like how you can never admit being wrong in an argument, you can never admit being wrong about your behaviour.

Here's some basic information about your 'freedom' and your 'opinions': your right to hold an opinion doesn't take away other people's right to criticize your opinion, and your behaviour. And when they do, maybe, just maybe, you should listen to them, and perhaps stop acting like a little child. Instead? You start attacking their team, or their country, or whatever, because you cannot handle the fact that they are right.

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean it is a good one, and that doesn't mean that you get away with insulting people, being offensive towards their team and acting like a petulant child.

"Many kids joined lately, not my mistake but if you care much about the forum why dont you just stop disappearing ?"

Because YOU are still here, still doing the exact same thing that I have been asking you to stop doing for TWO YEARS now.

When will you finally just stop being a troll?

"The actual fact is that only PL player of the year moves to Spain"

For WORLD RECORD FEES. You forgot to mention that part, whereas, unless I am mistaken, Ozil was the most expensive player to EVER get sold from the Spanish league, and he cost barely half of what Bale cost.

And, see, here's the thing: no-one in the PL could have bought Bale. Why? Because Spurs would not have sold. Man United tabled a bid of 100m for him, and we said no, but we said yes to 85m from Spain.

No-one in the PL could buy Hazard from Chelsea. No-one in the PL could buy Aguero from City. No-one in the PL could buy RVP from United, now (and it was a shock to even see Wenger let him go from Arsenal). No-one in the PL could have bought Suarez, or Bale. Even though there is much more money in the PL, there is also too much competition in that league, and too much star power. And you know what else? No-one, and I mean NO-ONE in Spain other than Real or Barca can afford to buy such PL players at ALL.

Also, your statement is utter bullshit anyway. Only the PL player of the year? lolwut?

How about Fabregas, Mascherano, Pique, Henry, Alonso, Vermaelen and Modric, hmm? None of those players were the best player int he league, like Bale, Suarez and Ronaldo, and yet the supposed two best clubs in the world always seemt o be looking to the PL for talent they cannot find in their own league.

"and only Costa did the opposite move because Atleti isnt big enough to keep their stars, but they are working on."

They are also, as someone else said, over 400m in debt. That's why they cannot turn down offers for players like Costa, Falcao, Torres and Aguero. They are not a well-run club, or an example of what is 'right' with football. If anything, they are what's wrong with it. FFP is going to destroy them, unless they can find a way to make UEFA be as corrupt as the BBVA Primera Liga.

"Except Costa, no Liga star did the opposite way : Mata, Silva, Aguero, Yaya toure have all became superstars until they joined PL, In Spain they were very good but we couldnt notice this difference between them and the rest of the league."

lolwut? See, this is that biased fan boy thing we're talking about.

You couldn't notice them because they were playing for teams who could not compete in the CL, and could only compete in the EL. Juan Mata became a household name because he joined a heavyweight like Chelsea. David Silva and Aguero became household names because as Marcus says, they were on their way up, and joined the brand-new project at City.

The 'rest of the league' in Spain were not anywhere near their true level, and you could argue that the same is true about Bale joining Madrid. The difference being: Bale was wanted by EVERYONE, because even taking a team to 5th in the PL is something that the entire world notices.

Because it's much, much harder to do. That's because the PL is a tougher league.

This is a fact.

*"*I know Michu, i was just joking and in Spain he wasnt that popular than you think, you overpaid for him as usual i want to say. "

Overpaid? lolwut? He cost 2m. That's how much a 15-goal player in La Liga costs a mid-table team in England. And now? He's a 2 goal player (from 17 apps), at least in the PL. In the EL? He's scored 4, this season, in 7 apps.

Roberto Soldado was Spain's 3rd or 4th best goal-scorer for 4 years at Valencia. He was finally bought by Tottenham for 25m. He managed to score 6 goals in 28 league apps last season. Iago Aspas moved to Liverpool last year, played 14 games, and scored 0 goals. He was loaned back to Spain (Sevilla) where he has already scored 4 goals in the Copa del Rey.

See, that's what happens to MOST players, when they come from Spain to England. They get lost in the higher average quality and tougher physical play. Only a handful like Aguero, SIlva, Navas do really well. When players move from England to Spain, they continue to play brilliantly (apart from Alex Song), and end up replacing the existing superstars (Bale + Modric replacing Ozil and di Maria, Suarez replacing Alexis Sanchez, etc).

That's the difference. These are facts. They are on my side. Your 'opinion' doesn't change this.

That's the difference. These are facts. They are on my side. Your 'opinion' doesn't change this.

No-one in the PL could buy RVP from United, now.

@Marcus Yaya Touré wasnt starter anymore under Guardiola, He was replaced quickly by Busquets and he was never rated as high as you rate him guys, i respect what he did for the club though.

@lodatz before reading this later, let me guess, you choosed the lines you could eventually answer, ignored all the embarassing arguments and went on an on in poetic stuff.

What did Liverpool, Arsenal and City this match day by the way ?
Except Chelsea ( Mourinho ), only German can compete with Spain in CL, its not a secret. And Barça isnt contenders, too many weak points that i cant see them solved till February, if you want objectivity.

@tiki: well, I'm grateful for you calling my work 'poetic', but I tend to think of it as just being accurate. I know you like to try and act as though I just bamboozle people with big words and flowery language, but if you look closely you'll notice that I keep providing FACTS to make an argument.

And again, it's funny how you act as though only German teams can compete with Spain, and yet? Here are some score-lines:

Bayern 0-2 Arsenal.
Bayern 2-4 City
Bayern 1-1 United
Bayern 1-1 Chelsea (Chelsea win on pens)
Bayern 2-2 Chelsea (Bayern win on pens)

Bayern 4-0 Barcelona
Barcelona 0-3 Bayern

Hmmmmm....

@Lodatz

Those results you hand-picked don't reflect anything accurately. You left out the time when Barca beat Bayern and when Real thrashed them, as well as the times when Bayern beat City, United, and Arsenal.

It's a neck-to-neck competition. It's difficult to compare top tier teams over the years because they are constantly changing. Really difficult to judge Bayern's record against English and Spanish competition because one season they thrash Barca 7-0, next season they get thrashed by Real 5-0. Very difficult to judge them by that and by their record over English competition. And that's because their record against the English is spread over some 7-8 years like butter over toast.

If you want to compare just one season, then you can say that Real Madrid thrashed every German team they faced, therefore Madrid > all of Bundesliga. But that simply reflects 2013-14. The season before that Madrid got thrashed by Dortmund 4-1. See what I mean? Football changes, and so do teams. Comparing Bayern with English/Spanish teams the way you're doing right now with Tiki doesn't reflect their ability to do anything, as a matter of fact.
