Walcott out for 6 months

Walcott is out with knee injury for 6 months.... oh god why =/ How unlucky can Arsenal get with injuries.. we need a striker NOW. Just when Walcott was in flying form he gets injured for 6 freaking months. What the hell is this luck! our ONLY fit striker right now is Podoslki, and that's not even his prime position.
Here is the link for the injury: http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/england/2014/01/06/4525599/walcott-out-for-six-months-with-knee-injury?ICID=HP_BN_3

He'll miss the World Cup as well... terrible news! Hopefully Gnabry can step up and the Ox fully recovers soon.

I feel for him. Just got back from an injury and into a great form and injured again and to miss the world cup... big loss for England ...

He is Arsenal's new Van Persie. Plays 2 months and injured the other 10. Great talent but fragile. I might say tottenham fans got their payback?

As for the world cup? England got no chances to begin with so with Walcott or w/o him they're screwed.

So I guess all the Spurs fans, who thought that he was time wasting, owe him an apology? ;)

this is just awful. Not just for arsenal because he was banging in goals in our last games, but for theo. He will miss another world cup, and he'll have missed almost the whole season. We'll cope, we don't need him as much as we needed rvp a few years back but he must be devastated

Woke up to this news and just -- FUCK!!!!! Horrible for him and us. He was doing so well and looked so strong. And to miss the WC too. Well, even more incentive to get on the ball and find a good striker.

This is a killer blow to us. People underestimate just how much of an impact Walcott has on our squad. Pushes team back, gives us a different dimension, and has finally found his goal scoring form. I remember when Messi said that he was the player that worried them most last we played Barcelona.

JUST LOOK AT THESE STATS:

Since the start of 12/13, Theo Walcott scored or assisted 33 PL goals (19 goals, 14 assists) more than any other Arsenal player. Prime. via @opta

Mind you he missed 1/2 of this season and is still almost level with Giroud. We need reinforcements badly :(

Worse blow for Arsenal than for England. Arsenal actually has hopes of winning the EPL. England has no hopes of winning the World Cup. Lol.

@dynastian so you're saying England should just stay home ? No matter what their ambition is like, every team will want to do well. And without Walcott England won't be as good. Also I can't imagine how amazing the experience of playing for your country on the biggest sport stage in the world would be. It's a big disappointment for England, but even more so for Walcott. And that's why I'm heartbroken.

@KingHenry: Chill, he was just making a joke... with quite a bit of truth in it, at that.

No Walcott in the WC for England... saddest news of the week for sure. Didn't he recently came back from an injury?

Why would anyone owe Walcott an apology? He's still a prick for doing what he did, and if anyone else had done at AT Arsenal, the uproar from the Gooners would have been huge, regardless of injury.

Walcott had been rolling around on the floor for most of the 2nd half, only to amazingly hop up whenever his team got the ball back. There was no reason to assume otherwise, especially with him smiling that smug, arrogant grin whole he was doing it.

Karma, Theo. Karma, Goons.

Enjoy it.

(P.S. England have been doing just fine without him)

I didn't say you would. He's not exactly been crucial to your season.

You are paying him an awful lot of money to be unfit, these days, mind you... ;)
