Sigh..... the UEFA Best Player in Europe is awarded to a player who has spent their season playing for a European club. James played for Monaco, Bale played for Madrid, Suarez played for Liverpool..... they all qualified. However, this award also takes into consideration the international performances of a player. Therefore, this is basically club season + World Cup. That's why Robben beat Suarez to the top 3. His club season was good, and his World Cup was outstanding.
