I think referee was just awful . There should be much better quality refereeing at such intense match .

This was one of the best referees in Spain. It's mission impossible to referee an El Classico especially at this time of the season.

He did good the first half. Pepe and Cesc play-acted, and both got yellows. Second half was horrid though.

the red card was the match changer, Ronaldo didn't dive but it was not penalty, Neymar is a disgrace and the ref follows him very closely (in being a disgrace).

Neymar played that one perfectly, made it impossible for ramos to defend by cutting in front of him while he was starting to go around the keeper. I hope when you see this angle and this gif you can stop bashing on poor neymar. That was actually very well played from him. And the offside was like 2 mm, you could say neymar and marcelo were about even.

EDIT : I just watched the video, on the last angle you can see exactly the same thing as on my gif. That you would make that title and cry for diving and for neymar's head after getting evidence it's a foul, you guys see only what you want to see, pathetic...

By the way if you've been watching football for long enough, you know where to look when watching replays of fouls. You look at the legs if nothing is happening around the arms. So either you just decided neymar was diving even before you saw the replay, or you are total beginners at watching football. If it's the first one that's just stupid.

That's an accidental clip, not really a red card worthy foul (unfortunate for Ramos he was last man). Neymar makes the most of it by rolling on the ground a few times and falling dramatically. Remember how you were defending Koscielny's red card against Villa? That was more of a foul than this clip.

When you are running at full speed, watching the keeper with one eye, watching the ball with the other, while you're thinking about where you're going to shoot, if someone clips your leg you fall like that. Didn't you have asshole friends who would clip your leg from behind while you were walking ? You almost fall that's right. If you add to that everything I said above, there is no way you can stay on your feet. And yeah, tell me you can fall that way on purpose. Ronaldo's fall was way more theatrical than this one, and no one is crying about it.

The fact that I show you unrefutable evidence and you're still in denial shows you're clearly not here to argue but rather to bash on barca and neymar and cry about your team losing.

This was the best classico by far in recent seasons. no one predicted it would come down to such a high scoring game and frankly if Benzema and Naymar would of converted earlier chances this would have ended easily with a 10 goal game.
all this talk about diving is just annoying. every classico comes down to people whining about it. here are some facts:
Ronaldo went down on MINIMAL contact (less than Neymar) out of the box and got a penalty and converted it.
Neymar was clipped in the box in a clear goal scoring chance (exaggerating or not its a penalty in every league of the world including a red card)
Iniesta played wonderfully drawing two RM defenders to tackle him foolishly in the box.
Pepe and Fabregas are idiots.

how could anyone argue Madrid deserved a win? the game was 2-2 before the non existant penalty.

after watching the gif, i must admit I didn't see the clip while watching it at a hispanic bar with 200 people yelling infront of me. Was a good run by Neymar and he put himself in good position. But was still garbage for most of the game. He has to learn there is a time for show boating and a time to keep the Barcelona rhythm going. This is El Clasico, and a game that could decide the season, not some pick up game @ the beach in Brazil entertaining 10 year olds.

Now everyone who said that was the biggest dive ever can eat their words including RAMOS himself (saying there was no contact, what a lie), poor Neymar. Neymar was poor this game but I remember he should have had another penalty, but because he dives too much it wasn't given.
