Pogba to Real Madrid, Kroos out?

Real Madrid, Bosnia-Herzegovina 56 616

Do you think this strengthens Real Madrid or does it weaken them?

Mind you, Kroos has been playing for Real Madrid for some time now. He's very comfortable, and knows his place. Knows what to do.

I consider Pogba to be a much more talented player and we can get more use out of him. If he performs as well as he does in Juve, I think this will make us favorites for CL.

Just imagine..

------------------Casemiro---------------------

Pogba ----------------------------Modric

Bale --------Benzema/Morata-----------CR 7

I drool.

Haha, Pogba is definitely not better than Kroos. I'd much rather keep Kroos. Perez always trying to get a new toy every year.

Lmfao Real Madrid will 100% regret it just like they regret selling Ozil and di Maria for James Rodriguez

No, just no.

I'd prefer kroos over Pogba anyday. Not of who's better, its just that Kroos has already build a good chemistry around the team, and this is what we lack. Not talent, speed, form or anything, but team chemistry.

We dont need any player aside of a backup striker. Morata is a n excellent back up and If Jese can can play as a forward striker as well, that would be great too.

Not to take anything away from pogba, but we need Kroos. Let's hope perez doesnt splash any money for players. The team is fine as it is.

I personally think Casemiro is crap and should replace him with Pogba. Imagine a midfield with pogba , modric and kroos...

@Theo_Walcott You know nothing Jon Snow... Casemiro is the main reason Real does not ship in 3 goals every game

@ chuck, actually Casemiro does nothing. Pogba has scored much more goals than Casemiro the last 3 years not to mention pogba scores screamers which Casemiro won't even be able to score even in his dreams.

@Theo The thing is that Pogba and Casemiro are very different player, Casemiro play in a position he doesn't shine a lot or score goal. Thats normal, the thing is that he is very helpfull in defense where he can support his CB. Pogba has more potential for offense in my opinion which is not that big of a problem for Real Madrid. In my opinion, the best move possible would be to buy Pogba and keep Kroos and make them fight to be in the starting eleven, no doubt Madrid could do it.

@emobot there is no chance in hell kroos or pogba will wanna be fighting for a spot they'll both wanna play in the first team. They already got too many class players on the bench such as James, Isco, Danilo sitting on the bench any other team in Europe would be drooling to have in their starting 11 let alone bench. Either they have to sell Casemiro or pogba goes to another club or stays at juventus.

@Theo If ONLY goalscorers win you games, why don't every manager field 11 attackers? You're just stupid... Casemiro screens the defense perfectly and allows Modric and Kroos to orchestrate the attack. Remember the 0-4 clasico when Benitez decided to play Kroos just in front of the defense?

@ chuck, I'm not saying teams should play 11 bloody attackers in the match I'm saying Casemiro offers jack shite to Madrid in offence and very little in defence since he's fat and slow. Pogba can attack AND defend which is something very few footballers have. Therefore pogba is much better option than Casemiro no wonder Brazil don't use him in their national team coz their manager knows he sucks

@Theo I don't think Zidane will sell Casemiro, when he started playing, he somehow managed to become the backbone of the team and Zidane had very good results with him in his starting lineup. I don't think RM really should sell any of their player, cause their all very good (well most of them), but this cause the problem that their is not enough playing time for them all of them. In my opinion however, thats part of playing for such a big team as Real Madrid. To be sincere, I think Pogba might stay one more year at Juventus. He is still young and he should have other chance to join big club in the future. Also, I don't really think Real Madrid need another midfielder, they had a great season with their current roster. I think they should focus more on their foward, adding a bit of dept to start remplacing Benzema and Ronaldo who are getting older maybe. My opinion of course and as you know, I'm not a specialist. :D

Edit:

and very little in defence since he's fat and slow.

Great argument lad. :p

I do agree that Kroos is a fantastic player but in his spot we need more from him. He just simply doesn't have the physical presence, speed, or the incision that Pogba would provide.

The reason our midfield is so often overrun when we played without Casemiro was because we did not have a player like Pogba. Kroos has more experience is a better passer than Pogba, that's for sure. However, for Real Madrid, Pogba IS an upgrade taking into account our other players.

If Casemiro gets injured or suspended, we're left without a physical presence in the midfield and any decent team will simply overrun our midfield. Remember what happened when we played Barca in the first half of last season? We played that game without Case. Imagine if we played that game with Pogba, Modric, and James/Ozil in the middle? I assure you, same would not have happened.

Pogba simply has more to offer to Real Madrid.

Do you want to compare Kroos and Pogba fairly?

Compare the player Kroos was when he was Pogba's age.

All that Kroos offers in the midfield is his high passing percentage but he is slow and offers very little going forward.

Pogba can not only defend, and is an end-to-end player that runs his socks off every game, he can also dribble, and is not afraid to take a shot at goal - unlike Kroos.

Again, Kroos is a fantastic player. Any team would be lucky to have him, but to accommodate him we need a good CAM and a good CDM, two positions he's sub-par in at best. Two positions that Pogba can do very well, if not better. Not to mention, the reason we haven't been half as explosive as we were in 2014 is because of Kroos. As good of a passer that he is, he does not transition to counter-attacking well at all. With Pogba, we will be the very best counter attacking side in the World.

In doing what Kroos does, he is definitely a better player than Pogba. However, Pogba has so much more to offer. Is young and will develop a lot more.

A midfield of Pogba, Modric, and Casemiro is simply better than a midfield of Kroos, Case, and Modric.

I think you guys are criminally underrating Pogba and overrating Kroos. Both are fantastic player but there's a reason Pogba is considered one of the very best CM's in the World. He has so much more to offer than Kroos does, and that is why he's an upgrade.

There's a reason every team out there wants Pogba, and would be willing to pay a fee close to the record - while we bought Kroos for dirt cheap.

Any team that would get Pogba can and should build the midfield around him. But if we're talking what the current Real "needs", without changing the entire midfield, Pogba isn't it.
They need someone that can be very defensive, have endless stamina and good passes. A winner. Kroos and Modric don't provide that, although they are both amongst the best "gentle" central/defensive midfielders ever.
