Finally a world class signing! Still think we need at least 3 players to be strong title contenders, a good back up goalie, defender and a defensive mid. Also we could do with a back up striker if Giroud is injured.

okay, this signing is the best thing so far in mine holidays, BRAVO WENGER!
just to let u know, Wenger is still that man who we thinks, just 16 years old Gedion Zelalem is part of first team!
@ArsenalGunners, well we signed a goalie, Viviano. I hear he is a good player and might compete with Szcz for #1. We signed Flamini who can play CM, DM, DC, LB and RB. I honestly think we don't really have a problem with our defense. When Vermaelen comes back from injury our back 4 will look really solid. Though I agree that we needed at least a back up striker if not someone to push Giroud out of the starting 11. Let's hope he keeps fitness like he did last season.
Bendtner made a statement that he would stop his childish behaviour as well. Even if he wants out, if he gets his head back into his game we might have a decent alternative to Giroud.
@KingHenry, let's not forget about Podolski who can surely fill a striker's position.
Interesting article.. dont know if it's true though.. just wanna share..
^^ It's utter bullshit.
There's another article doing the rounds about how Moyes was trying to block it too. I mean, really, do you really think Levy would waste a phone-call trying to stop something that would never be even slightly in his control?
Please. ;)
Arsenal have agreed a £42.4m (50m euros) deal with Real Madrid to sign Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil.
The 24-year-old has agreed personal terms but must undergo a medical before Arsenal can complete what would be a club record signing.
Ozil is on international duty and the medical will take place in Germany. The Gunners have failed in high-profile attempts to sign Liverpool striker Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain, another Real Madrid player, this summer.
But they are close to capturing Ozil after Gareth Bale's world-record £85.3m switch from Tottenham to Real triggered further deals on the final day of the transfer window.
Ozil joined Real from Werder Bremen three years ago for a fee believed to be about £12.4m and has played 155 times for the club.
