So do you think a shootout will decide the two teams fates?

1-0 Dallas at halftime.

Akindele capitalizes on a defensive mixup and leads the match.

This looks set to be Canada's 3rd straight defeat in the MLS playoffs unless the Whitecaps turn it around.

The whitecaps were too reserved and never got forward, waiting for a counter attack or Dallas slip up and they paid the price.

The game ends 2-1 to Dallas as a very questionable penalty eliminates the Cascadians.

Vancouver made it 1-1 through Hurtado but a penalty call in the 82nd eliminated the caps.

That way, FC Dallas will play Seattle over two legs for a spot in the Semi Finals.

What a shame for Vancouver. Not a penalty.

NYRB earns their first ever playoff win at RBA and face off against DC United for a classic east derby. Can NYRB step out of DC's shadow at last this season?

Might NER be contenders for this whole thing?

As I type they are ripping Columbus apart 4-1 in Columbus.

Full time, a spot in the semi finals of the playoffs basically confirmed for New England unless Columbus pull off the shock of the season in Foxborough.

Hoping for a better showing from Seattle against Dallas in the return leg. It was good to get the away goal, but we played really very poorly.

Still, hangover from winning the league, right? Come on you treble-winners!
