We should condemn them. These great footballers are supposed to be the role models for the next generation of footballers and keep a good attitude on and off the pitch. That's why we should condemn Maradona for using drugs during a WC. We should condemn Ribery and Benzema for having relations with a underage prostitute. And we should condemn both Giggs and Terry for what they did. Without a doubt they will always be known as one of the best in their position, but we shouldn't forget how bad they can be off the pitch.

Joey Barton is right, Giggs is an awful person to have done that. And also, Joey Barton is a c*nt.

As much as I hate this little cunt, but he is right. Giggs is a greatfootballer and one of Man Utd legends, but as a person, his a fucking dick. Who the fuck can do this to their brother? It's not called "bro code". It's called morality. And it seems that Ryan Giggs has none.

I agree with Barton, sorry United fans but you shouldnt be complaining...
Barton or Ven didnt try to hurt your feelings by pointing Giggs, they have just said something wich is the truth.
For example, every team has one hated player Ashely young, Busquets,Pepe,Terry,Suarez for different reasons, but the fans should not be hurt by that, you should just accept it and be objective about the player even when you think subjectively.
Barton has many defects, but the thing i love the most is that he says what he thinks no matter the consequences, he is a courageous man and what did Giggs to his brother is worst than going to Prison for me.
But this not mean we should blame him as a player, he is one of the most respected player of his generation and maybe the most professional.
Terry and Giggs for me are the same, 2 legends in their sports and 2 assholes in real life. Sometimes the truth is ugly, but it will be always better than a beautiful lie.

I will always have Scholes above Giggs for the very reason Barton pointed out. But at some point you have to question why it is JOEY BARTON of all people talking about respect. It is such an insecure thing to do; pointing out the worst in people to make up for the fact that you are one of the most hated footballers of all time. But that does not change the high probability that there are footballers who do this sort of thing and never get caught. Moral of the story: if you're looking for a football "idol" to give you a moral compass, you are in need of greater help than these scandalous players. You don't know these people on a personal level. You watch them play, label them as "legends" and expect them to act in a manner that is completely in line with your own personal and possibly hypocritical beliefs. Romario once said "Pele is a poet, when his mouth's shut". And I believe him, because once you bring any player outside of the realm of football, very rarely will you be impressed.
