Guardiola's Punishment Catalogue

Each Breach of Rules Results in a €250 Fine (To be Collected by Philipp Lahm)

Arriving Late To Team Meetings

Not Observing Dress Codes

Not Putting Dirty Clothes in Laundry Bins

Taking Phone Calls on the First Floor of Bayern's Sabener Strasse Training Complex

Being Overweight

Failure to Eat Within an Hour of a Training Session or Match Ending

Fines will also be handed out to players who are deemed to be overweight, and to those who fail to eat within an hour of the end of a training session or a match. This last point is reported to be particularly important to Guardiola. On the advice of Bayern's dietician Mona Nemmer, the players should be eating pasta dishes within an hour of finishing work, but many avoid doing so, in order to eat with their families when they return home. This has clearly begun to frustrate the Guardiola

Wow, another side to Guardiola. I used to respect him a lot, but you can't physically abuse your players like that. It's not appropriate for a manager with such a reputation.

His fines seem normal (whatever it takes to establish his methods I suppose), but his physical nature seems to be harsh to me.

Seriously you think THIS is abusing? Look at Müller's expression, he is just amused by Guardiola's "physical nature".

Guardiola call me when you take over a team that's not financially rich or the best team in the world. Take over a team like Liverpool Guardiola and we'lll se you fail miserably cos you suck as a manager

I can imagine Balotelli living by this, giving him his whole salary and doing anything like nothing happened.

Since when is any of these "rules" abusive? He is a very talented manager he probably knows what he is doing. The video only shows him being pissed but It doesn't get to the point of an aggression. Bayern players seem to love him, all of them speak well about him. I hate to compare but Mourinho had a not-so-good relationship with many players and he wasn't as harsh as Guardiola.

Most peeps on Reddit said the incident with Muller was a joke, I can't say much. The rest is just to keep the players in line I'm guessing, don't want the World Cup get to their heads :p

@Ihaveabbc

Muller doesn't look amused at all with the way he was backing away from Guardiola and his serious face while picking up the water bottle.

I can't consider this abuse. Hes clearly upset about something the players aren't doing. Its hard keeping in check egos after a world cup triumph. Pep wants his team to be prepared in all aspects to compete in every cup and not fall apart like last season.
