I swear, some people really make me mad, bringing up this kind of stuff to football. Why would it matter what religion a player have, as long as he respect the law and act with like a true sportman, why would you reproach anything to the man. People see political message were they are none. Anyway, what do you guys think about all this?

Well then the woman who wrote that article has the same basic mindset as you i.e not judging a person on his actions or capabilities but on their gender/religion.

AfD is a disgrace to Germany. They seem to have forgotten that freedom of religion is one of the basic pillars of our constitution. It's painful to watch this party of misanthropes reach ~15% in recent polls. But it's the same all over Europe, right wing politics are on the rise.
But you can see why. Europe has failed to come up with a plan to deal with the refugees, instead every country tries to shut their borders. How can you not give these people a helping hand. Just because they are different? Just because of some fckin terrorists, we give up the most important principle of christianity, altruism. Yet we have the audacity to say that the refugees don't fit our "christian culture". Humankind is so stupid I swear.

Didn't read the link, I know approximtively what I ll find there, but yeah totally agree with everyone here. Media and Nato has a big responsibility of this, when a Jewish or Christian or a Buddhist or who cares commit a crime, in the headlines he is called by his name. When a person near to the Islamic culture does the same you see '' the Muslim '' did as if his religion influenced his actions... A muslim mayor of England in the French headlines, do the same about Jewish or other protected minorities and you are in trouble.
For some poor minded people in Europe who lost their job or didn't had any, with the frustration being in capitalist society the way media and politics paint things, it may undirectly push people toward the wrong responsible of the actual economic situation or how to make the economically poor African/Arab born pay the price of weakening the local population, and then call for more migrants and work for a divided low class of workers/jobless to make them forget key words : Debt, wealth captation, EU dictatorship....
Sadly Muslims are paying the price of something they didn't cause, before 2001 nobody cared about that religion, the monsters were the scary Soviet, reality is that brutal capitalism needs an enemy and when he fails to find one he creates it.
