He is a good coach , but certainly not the best , maybe just for Germany to manage national team. Diego Simione was the man for that award . Ancelotti was second best to get but Jorgi ...

Just because he is Colombian, you will back him up on that . My Colombian friends are just like you . Nothing wrong with a goal . Winning the award as the best was the wrong part . Persie scored against World Cup defending champions in flying style . You don't see goals like that scored so often especially against Spain . That alone deserves recognition . Even Cahils goal had more flair to it , than James .

I like James more than RVP or anyone else nominated for the Puskas Award, but I have to admit RVP's was more special as its not everyday you see a flying heading from a brilliantly lobbed through ball, sailing into the net, leaving the goalkeeper dumbfounded, and changing the match completely upside down.

It's a goal everyone likes something different, RVP goal was more special, you just don't see it every day, week, as @Eden said.
But what really bothers me how in the hell did Luiz made it to the FIFA XI? Did PSG paid another 50M but now to FIFA add him there? Who in the hell would vote him ahead of players like Godin, Alaba, Boateng?

@Marcus2011 James' goal won Best goal in the world cup, no way Van Persie's goal should have won if it didn't win in the WC. It was deserved, it was a better goal, no doubt about it... You can disagree all you want, but you're still wrong... I'm not saying it cuz I'm Colombian, I'm just using logic...

and also @Marcus2011 not like Casillas had a good world cup, he was just as bad as any other mediocre keeper... Plus, no keeper in the world would have saved that, so not like it makes a huge difference.

I don't care and millions of football fans around the world don't care , so if you care they should have separate ceremony for it on TV and you grab ice cream watch it happily with your lesbian friends ! You just confirmed it yourself , no goalkeeper would have ever saved it and including IKER CASILLAS . Casillas dropped the form to be considered as one of the best , but certainly was still world class goalkeeper at the tournament . Was the Uruguyan goalkeeper at least world class ? Nope .
