I was impressed with everton they really handled united well and rvp looked average and out of place however fellani is a great talent for them and i hope they hold onto him. they handled the corners well
Everton were fantastic through the entire 90 mins, Fellaini completely controlled the game, United weren't at the races, poor team selection from Fergie I would say, although I'm sure the Arsenal fans will love it, but can't really judge RVP on 20 mins.
i think Fellaini is so underrated. He was so unstoppable today. Everton was simply faultless!
United we stand.
Don't give up Red Devils.
Never let up on your club.
We can just pick things up at OT against Fulham

It's first match, don't need to panic yet, but Man Utd need a good midfielder for this season... just saying.
Well to be honest Carrick is not a good defender, Ferdinand was missed and Valencia is not a full back. But still Everton were the better side. It was a great game. And RVP started on the bench hehe!

Arsenal beat Everton 1-0 both home & away during the 2011/2012 season. lol.
@ man_utd
Yeahhh. That's when it kind of back-fired on me.
To Arsenal fans. I tip my hat. Did well against Everton.
@man_utd
Why thank you, good sir.
@DonAndres
Now they've both left... haha.
And yeah, the assist & goal were amazing =]
Its the first game from United in this season so calm down.
I agree with Knibis. No need to duplicate a match thread.

Upsets are part of game ..... they knw how to bounce back !!
But on match threads, you can't post your opinion like how you can on a forum and anyway, even if you can on a comment, you have to read almost 50+ pages
What I thought was that Everton did a very good job with the offence and the defense but it was a bit hard having David De Gea playing in the Olympics and then coming and playing in the opening game. Nothing special about Van Persie vs Everton but it was a well deserved win against Manchester United.
