Diego Costa's disgusting behavior (should he be banned?)

The link above shows him kicking an opposition player in the back.

This link shows him punching an opposition player in the face.

This is much worse than Suarez's stupid dives and biting habits, and Costa should be banned accordingly. English FA is very controversial, so I don't expect a ban, but what do you guys think? Ban, or no ban?

Here are some screenshots. Trust me, the hits are much worse than they seem in the pictures.

I may be biased but on the first one O'Shea kicked his leg quite hard and also dragging him to ground, like on every other single challenge there was between them two. And his "punch" on the second one was clearly unintentional, his jumping momentum make his arms goes up, like everyone else, and he apologized to Brown after hurting him.
Costa is a warrior. Ok he is messy but he is just standing his ground against defenders who give him a hard time.
So no ban for me. He got yellow carded so he is out for the next game. Thats enough

Well, the first incident (kick with his feet) deserves a match ban but the second one looks rather unintentionally to me ... I could be wrong though :P

I dont think so, he has always been like this but barely get a red or a ban. He plays with the red line but never fully cross it, booking expert :).He will see a red one day but not this time.
Dirty ? Lol he was elected dirtiest player of la Liga ahead of Pepe, nothing new here, but i love this guy, makes rivals crazy :)

He should, the thing is those actions can be defended as part of the game or unintentional. The FA only acts upon this cases when there is very clear evidence of intention.

One day he will get what he deserves dont worry. It took Suarez a long time of dirty playing until he finally got the suspension.

I agree with @Ihaveabbc

@Ihaveabbc

There is no need for him to swing his arm like that. That is in no way unintentional.

@Chucksea

So O'Shea bringing him down is enough reason for him to kick O'Shea in the chest? It's disgusting to think that anyone would defend an action like that.

Should be banned, especially for the elbow. But he won't learn - it's his nature. Did this a lot in La Liga.

@tiki the reason he got away w/ these in La Liga is because of the ref standards, they're poor and you almost never get red card there (C.Ronaldo vs Atl.Bilbao is an exception). You could see it in Clasicos & heated derbies in last years.

@ihaveabbc nah, even the dumbest ppl could see it was intentional, Costa was just a bit cheeky & didn't do it THAT obviously - but like I said for me that was pretty obvious.

@tuanis agree.

Looks like it was deliberate to me. Can't believe a guy with such tremendous amount of talent and work-rate is this much of a dirty player. But I am not surprised.

@Dynastian Definitely not, its a clear foul. Sunderland's center backs kept tackling him as hard as they could and got aways with it, I guess he got pissed. It's still not a reaction to have and the ref should have booked him, so he maybe should have seen red in this game, the ref missed that. But I personally feel that he should not be banned for being a fighter against defenders and not be crying everything he get brought down like some other players do.
I also feel like everyone hates Diego, and are pointing out bad things he does. No one remember Aguero double footed jump on David Luiz ass. That is only my opinion though.

That's definitely a swinging arm, he knew what he was doing! Short ban, maybe couple games!

LMAO hahaa

You all defending John O'shea ? John "fcking" O'shea . Defending O'shea is like being devils advocate , instead he literally was a "devil" few years ago. ( same goes with his mate - Mr. Brown ) . They are ex United dobermans .

O'shea and Wes Brown are "poachers" . At United their job included to intimidate , get roughed up and play heavy other than defending ( attacking in O'shea case ) . They did exactly what they are best at today against Chelsea .Their target was Costa and boy they never let Costa off their radar with grappling , pulling and heavy tackles. Ofcourse Costa easy target to pick on to get aggressive reaction from and that is why they picked on him . It paid off .

It was intense and very rough tackling match . We could point out that two heavy tackles from behind by O'Shea should have also seen cumulative red card , but yet you don't see us complaining .

We know Costa is a short tempered player , but he is not dirty player . I never thought of him as such when he was in Atletico and man If I judge him same way as you then I could hate him for his play against Chelsea last year . To me Costa is a exciting fury which football needs to rediscover .

O'Shea and Brown are cold blooded and collected players that go out and do their job , ( credit to them ) but no way they are lesser of the evils in this game .

You guys need to stop talking out of your ass and watch the match not highlights .

P.s. Stop contributing in turning football to a girly sport .

Why it's not surprising me? I see Costa as a striker who plays for nerves, he likes to provoke and then get the advantage, or yellow for opponent. Kinda dirty, but nothing new.

I won't spit in the soup since I'm a Chelsea supporter, but yeah, Costa is a cunt, probably one of the biggest at the moment in the PL, and Mourinho is also a pretentious prick, but as long as they are doing their job well, I won't complain about them. I would not be surprised if Costa got a straight red soon for that kind of stupid gesture.

This is something usual from Costa. He is a disguisting cun.t thats something we cannot do about it. And by the way i still see him as a Brazilian not like a European Spaniard.
