the sore grapes from RM fans on here is surprising considering he has arguably been Madrid's second best player for the last two seasons. The same was said of Ozil last year. As for consistency, Robben turned out pretty well, didnt he?
On his attitude, I'd be pretty upset with the administration if I kept getting who*ed out to potential buyers everytime my team thinks of buying a new "Galactico". He was up for sale last summer to pay for Bale, then up for sale this summer to pay for James, who I still think is well below Di Maria's quality. and NO..Reus is not better than Di Maria

The fact is that Angel gives his incredible potential to the collective, both Bale and James have individual ambitions and tend to shoot rather than secure a goal with an assist. It will depend on James adaptation and it could be a genious replacement but Angel was a beast against important rivals...
If RM fans are happy with the money then its alright, Barça fans are even happier for his departure.

This is a good thing for the club. Di Maria is a beast and a very good deal for any club. But no one is bigger then the club and in time we will find a solution within the squad If not pretty sure we will get a one that is possiboly better. Reus i would say is my dream replacement.

Hilarious coming from people who don't even watch Real Madrid play. He was sh*t in 2012/13, Mourinho hated him too. He barely featured in the beginning of 2013/14 because his performances were garbage. I didn't say di Maria is a bad player, just an incredibly inconsistent one. You United fans have fun with him. He'll be excellent as a CM, and unbelievably inconsistent as a winger.

Of course half of the best players in Real appreciated Mou. That's the problem. Why do you think everyone said the dressing room was 'divided'? It was divided into the players that Mou bought (loved him), and the 'other' group of players that hated him (Ronaldo, Alonso, Casillas, Ramos). Players like Ozil, Khedira, and di Maria like Mourinho because he bought them and made them who they are today.

DiMaria is a good player, but I agree with Dynastian that he has been highly inconsistent. The more pressing need is a CM at this moment, and I do not know why that issue is not being addressed! LVG knows that Herrera/Fletcher combo will not long last. I do not trust Carrick either.I would rather have spent that amount to get Vidal/Strootman. United's transfers this summer have been good so far, and while DiMaria is an excellent player, this is not who we need at this moment.

Well and truly said. You're probably right, I must've got my sources from Marca. They do tend to make up things, and it's my fault I believe the lies about Alonso and Ronaldo.

We won't throw Ancelotti in with Mourinho, believe me. We loved Jose in the first two seasons. But when he started to have divisions in his squad in his final season, we definitely had problems. In the end, Mourinho made his own demise in Madrid, simple as that. Ancelotti has never said or done anything against his players throughout his entire career, and he's also won us the Decima. We might blame him for his faults, but we will never hate him.

However, Madrid fans do not blame Carlo for either Ozil or di Maria sales. We blame Perez for Ozil, but forgave him because Bale exceeded expectations. We do not know anything about how di Maria's departure will turn out, but it was Angel's own choice to leave.

I know my stuff about Madrid. I do not 'claim' to be anything. A matter of fact, I don't 'claim' to know much about Chelsea at all. Maybe you should also be careful when you 'claim' to know more about Madrid than I do. ;)

I love how every time that a player shines for Real or Barca, they're hailed as the best in the world. Then, when they get bought by a PL team, suddenly the fans of the team they came from automatically start coming up with reasons as to why they weren't REALLY that good, and so therefore wont be missed, etc etc.

Di Maria will be a good addition to United. Not sure who he is going to replace, but that's LvG's problem.

He is only being sold because Perez bought in James and Kroos, just as Ozil was only sold because Bale arrived, and even mighty Madrid need to get funds back. Any other reasons given are straight out of the Marca propaganda machine (read: a bunch of crap). ;)

I think he's going to have a rough time in the PL, to be honest. He's not used to defenders actually keeping up with him. Maybe in a season's time he'll be adjusted, but I caution United fans against expecting too much of him in his first season.
