'' im not deniying their chances, with the latest signing they streghned drastically but it wont be that easy to lift the Graal of Europe. ''
Learn to read, Chelsea will be contenders just like Barça Real Madrid Bayern and Dortmund, Maybe Atletico but i dont think this could be possible.
"Learn to read,"
I did. I QUOTED you, in fact.
Learn to admit when you are wrong, instead of lying about what you (and what I) said.

No, I really don't. It also has nothing to do with that we're talking about. Again, you're now just being petty because I am right.

Then why are you the one getting personal, instead of continuing to discuss the topic, hmmm?
@Moderators: see? What am I meant to do, here? I have tried being patient, and sticking to the topic, and yet here we are. Please advise.

You started bringing the 7-0, anyway each time you talk with me the 7-0 appears, so dont be buthurt if the 11-1 appears.
you started it, let people read and make their view :)

"You started bringing the 7-0"
Yes, because you were arguing that Barcelona should be considered a contender for the CL title this year, more than Chelsea, and so I reminded you that the PITCH RESULTS have shown Barcelona to be increasingly out-classed in Europe over the last 3 years, whereas Chelsea have won two European trophies in the same period.
In short: it was relevant to the topic.
You just attacked Spurs because the truth hurt your feelings, and now you're trying to hurt my feelings in return. It's petty.
"you started it"
No I didn't. In fact, I was having a chat with Vendetta until you tried starting a fight.

The only people reading, by this point, are the moderators. Everyone else is bored, and now the conversation has been ruined. This is why I am asking the moderators what to do, because I am tired of you ruining threads whenever you lose a discussion. I would prefer to have a forum free of trolling.

No we are in rebuilding, we won enough things to not be impatient for instant success, same case of United fans.
We are one of the biggest teams in Europe, and we will have one of the most outstanding stadiums in the world, im not really worried about our future, looks bright.
I' ve said what i wanted to say, i guess you did too, good night.
I don't know but you 2 always seem to end up in a bad way. Lodatz sometimes you say some harsh stuff even if its true there is a another way to say it, "A nicer" way if you would say.
He likes to banter but he cant accept taking some in return :)
@Salahadin: Look back through this conversation, and then tell me that I've been the impolite one. ;)
I stick to the facts. Because the facts are not on his side, typically this is when we have to endure the trolling, and thus the original topic is forgotten and buried under personal attacks (along with the fact that he had no response to the facts).
It's kind of tiring, to be honest, and one of the reason why we can't have decent discussions any longer (like the one you and I had).

What facts ? Europe last year was 100 per cent Spanish, what facts ? Wake up.
You are making me hating EPL with your stubborn non sense atitude...
Thankfully not PL fans looks like you, credit to Tuan objective guy that you need to talk a little with him about your bias and his objectivity.

*"Right back at you. I'm the one pointing out that Chelsea have been sitting pretty this WHOLE time, and that they were the ones being most intelligent about it. Atletico Madrid's success has (in a large part) been thanks to Courtois, no? Well, they owe Chelsea for the opportunity to have him. Do you think he wouldn't have become awesome somewhere else, too? Chelsea spotted his potential 3 years ago, managed to get him top-flight experience at a club which are not a direct domestic rival, and now are cashing in.**
That's genius business. And now? Atletico no longer have Courtois (nor Costa nor Felipe Luis).
So, again: get some common sense?"*
It's exactly what I was implying? Good business from both teams, they both got what they wanted. Atletico got the best young GK prospect for 3 years, Chelsea got the finished product. It is not possible to have a civilized conversation with you without getting my ideas rudely rejected by a wall of arrogance.
Watch out, Atletico will not be as poor as you make them out to be. As long as Simeone is in charge, the team will perform excellently.
"It's exactly what I was implying? Good business from both teams, they both got what they wanted."
I never said they didn't; I was just pointing out that without the long, moneyed arm of Chelsea leaning over their shoulder, they might not have been so fortunate, and to be honest? Chelsea could have given him to anyone, couldn't they? Or would he not have shone as much, if he wasn't busy being the reason why Atletico rarely conceded?
You act as though this was a move of genius from a club who probably simply could not believe their luck when Chelsea proposed it.
Instead, unlike you, I worry for the solidity of Simeone's back line, now that both their world-class goalkeeper and their world-class left-back are wearing Chelsea's blue, along with their top-class striker (and source of the vast majority of their goals). Oh, and to top it all off, Alderweireld apparently wants out. Who does that leave Simeone with? Godin? Go on, I challenge you to make the case that Godin is a world-class defender, instead of someone who needs to hand-ball, fall over on cue, and lash out at other players in order to be successful.
Personally I reckon that if the Supercopa showed anything, it's that Simeone has had, currently, to resort to playing dirty for his team to still succeed. This isn't surprising, though, is it? That's just how he beat Mourinho's Madrid in the Copa del Rey a couple of seasons ago, isn't it?
You may well believe that Atletico will be 'just fine', man. I don't, because I notice that they've just lost three of their best players (to the same team, no less!), and have replaced them with inferior firepower (though Griezmann is pretty handy, I grant you).
I'd caution you against judging things too early, but doubtless you'd just say I was being... 'rude', was it?
"Jesus, get some common sense."
Oh wait, it was YOU who came out with that one, wasn't it?
If you want to have a mature, intellectual discussion about a topic with me, then how about not firing in hot just to find fault with the fact that I was disagreeing with tiki (it's quite the formula, I've observed)? I'd be happy to engage you, and if you'd like to find a place to start, there's the 5 paragraphs above to read (again).
Or, if you'd like the 'arrogant' me, then keep on trying to pull this kind of crap, and see how it goes. You might find I don't tend to reply YOUR rudeness with a sweet smile and a plate of cookies.
You took a swing, buddy. I just swung back harder.

Or, to put it all in a much shorter, more succinct point:
Do you believe that Atletico are currently prepared to deal with someone like, say, Bayern? Not Real, not Chelsea (whom I both believe to be (together with City and potentially Arsenal) able to fight on equal footing with the Bavarians), not Barcelona (whom I don't think can either) but Atletico Madrid.
Without Courtois. Without Costa, and without Felipe Luis.
Do you?
If not, then reconsider their chances of winning the CL, or getting near the final again. We might be about to see Atletico become Dortmund v2.0.

What to do for a player to be recognized by the biased lodzy ? Move to PL...
Happy to hear you finally admitting Costa potential ;)
Ask any teams fans if they wanna meet Barça over another team, ask City fans or Arsenal fans, ask RM fans even Atleti or Chelsea would prefer meeting another rival.
You just dont know what you are talking about, only Chelsea can pretend to be contenders in England, keep your dreams for you.
We'll see how Atletico Madrid perform this season, then we'll come back to this thread and see who's right.
"Godin? Go on, I challenge you to make the case that Godin is a world-class defender, instead of someone who needs to hand-ball, fall over on cue, and lash out at other players in order to be successful."
You are looking at the negatives of Diego Godin's attitude. He is an excellent defender. Why do you think Atletico had such a fantastic defensive season last year? It was thanks to Godin, Miranda, and Courtois. If you say that Godin is not a excellent defender, then maybe you aren't watching the same football team as I am. ;)
I am actually scared and excited to meet Chelsea in the pl, I think they can reach the CL final and they truly r the transfer kings in this transfer window selling David luiz for 50MIL!!!!!! EPL keeps getting better and I am soooooooooooo excited this year
I think Chelsea and Real Madrid would be a good match up as long as they don't play that defensive style (I'm sorry but that kinda kills the game and it makes me so mad cuz of the team Chelsea have)
Also I use to hate mourinho but now I am impressed by him, he truly is the special one but don't worry we will come back STRONGERRR!!!
I'd like to meet Bayern in the knock out stages of the CL. I truly believe we can easily beat them, much easier than Real, Atletico, Barca, PSG, Juventus.
