Clasico week

Individual rivalries : Messi/Ronaldo, Bale/Neymar, Piqué/Ramos...
Club rivalry : The fiercest rivalry in Europe, 60 years of hattred, civilian war, political issues...
Sportive competition : 1pt gap between Spanish top 2, Spanish league issue depends highly on 90min as the winner would get the lead and a psychological impact over the rival.
Best Football quality in the world : Mou era is over, Ancelotti team plays Football, play for the win, clean game with arguably the best squads in the world ( Bayern aside ).

Revenge for Barça, taking back the leader place for Real, both teams obviously playing the win, open game obviously with both teams preparing it for a while...

Madrid already qualified for CL quarters, Barça will do it wednesday ( unless a cataclism unlikely )

MSN VS BBC With home advantage for MSN and midlefield advantage for BBC.

My prediction for the game : 4-2.

Post anything related here, prediction, your support, Banter, news, comparisons...

Feel free to discuss.

I expect a Barcelona win and lots of goals. MSN are obviously on-form than BBC.
I think it depends on midfields. Real Madrid will try to have the edge over Barcelona on midfield but if they can't have that; they will try to strike with the deadly trio on Counter Attacks in my opinion.
Barcelona will play dominative with short passes and find a way to sneak into Madrid's defence. Real Madrid's defence looks very weak lately. That may cause them many problems against on-form Barcelona and MSN.
When both weigh others game styles and performs, we will witness many goals. My prediction is for 4-2 like yours.

Barca will win and there will be lots of goals. The only thing is that Barca rise and fall with Messi. If Messi performs, then Barca will win. If Messi disappears, then Barca will not win. It's almost that simple, and yet almost impossible to predict.

BBC severely off-form though. Ronaldo frustrated throughout the last 10 games. Poor from him. With low confidence, you can generally assume that Ronaldo will be poor and/or selfish throughout the game, which is very convenient for Barca.

Madrid have the better midfield and defense while Barca has arguably the best attack in the world. I hope that Madrid will see the game tactically like Atletico does in most big games, defend flawlessly and then kill on the counter, and if everything goes well, win at Camp Nou. Being realistic though, Barca will probably snatch up the victory or at least a draw.

The two teams will face with oposite forms and a big difference in recent performance. Adding the fact that Barcelona are top of the league and playing at Camp Nou is a big boost of confidence which will only conclude what we already could predict.

It seems as if the clear favorite is Barcelona but dont forget this is a Clasico, anything could happen.

Maybe im too optimistic here, everything could happen, in the first leg Barça just lost to PSG and Suarez was having his first official game with 0 automatisms and link up with teammates, the midlefield very unbalanced and Rakitic lost confidence after PSG.
Barça still was very close from a 0-2, then Madrid equalized and things escalated quikly...

To be franc, there is no form in a Clasico, both will be motivated, both will give their very best....

Im very optimistic, because Messi is in full form and motivation, Messi is the heart of midlefield and the brain of Barça in addition to be the best finisher, but if the rest of squad put a good performence specially in the defence, then Barça would be unstoppable....

Our best CB combination is Piqué-Mascerano but Busquets injury puts Javier in CDM position, then Bartra-Mathieu one of them will take the role with Piqué...

If Madrid gives up on midlefield Barça will win, with Isco-Kroos-Modric they can keep the ball and create chances...
I cant see them refuse a battle they could win, thats why i predict a big score, then again Messi form makes me think Barça will still win.

Anyway, hope there will be no controversy and an epic game, let the best team win.

"Piqué/Ramos..." XD

Honestly speaking, I'm really afraid we'll get our ass beat. Hope we can pull it off.

And hatred? That's a bit too strong don't you think?

Real can only surprise, they form is nowhere near top, while Barca's form is scary. They might pull a draw somehow, but it's not gonna happen.
3:1 Messi, Suarez, Own Goal and Benzema

@Madridista Between fans i dont think so, specially because we have passion of Football in common, but for natives, hattred is undeniable...

Barca 3 - 2 Real.
(Messi, Suarez/Neymar/Rakitic - Bale/Ronaldo, Pique (own goal))

lots of yellow cards, and Ronaldo will be unhappy if Bale plays a little selfish however he will keep shooting for himself (one of them will be a goal).

Casilas will be a bit rusty in the first 2 goals before pull out a BUNCH OF great saves.

Alves will jump on Ramos and they start eating each other's head.

Messi will vomit.

Main questions about this video:
What do you think about this reaction? Does it show him being selfish? And if he did that selfishly, is it going to affect him and his teams performance on El-Classico?

Barca 2-1 Real (Messi 2x / Ramos)

@Emrecan_58 He could score good goal, but not celebrating and even getting mad is just selfish. Meanwhile in 4-1 UCL final he celebrated his last penalty goal like he scored WC final winning goal.

@Emrecan dude FFS i want to know the guy who said he didnt celebrate, HE definitely celebrated with bale, just look at the highlights not the short video in where ronaldo "raised his arm". Its just the media who were bored to create shit up, and no im not blinded i saw the match he did had bad body gestures, but he celebrated both goals.

But about the classico i want Madrid to win even by 1 goal or even a draw is fine but against an in form barca, plus a team without even the support of their fans AWAY is way to much for madrid, barca win 3-1 or madrid wins 2-3 where Bale doesnt waste a FK and Ronaldo scores a header, since i think are our only chances to score. I just hope the fans support them even if its only one.

@rayrex it's not the 1st time tbh ...

ANYWAYS, really gutted that the game is on Sunday, would've loved to watch it in Saturday, or even Friday would've been better. But it's understandable considering Barca just had their UCL game, but still :<
