Sometimes everything just goes against you. This isn't any one person's fault. Name me one player (or coach) on the Chelsea squad who is doing better now than they did last year?
A different analysis is Chelsea's defence specifically. If you average out all Chelsea's league games last year, it will surprise no one that they didn't score very many goals (the parking the bus rhetoric had to come from somewhere). That hasn't changed this year. What has changed is them allowing the most goals in the league. Chelsea does not, nor have they ever had the offence to compensate for that.
This start is interesting because it made me re-evaluate several things that occurred last season. First and foremost, the play of Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard. Are they actually playing worse than last year? Statistically, actually no. They just don't have a defence to cover the lack of goal-scoring. So were they ever that good to even begin with? It's a tough question. The second thing is the loss in the Champions league last year along with that defeat to Spurs. Chelsea can't win a game where they defence gives up a certain amount of goals. We've seen that this year, and it was obvious last year even if it wasn't observed.
The problem from this year to last year is the defence and nothing else imo. Chelsea won so many games 1-0 last year, if the defence lost a step (which it did) then the whole piece falls apart.
I do see this somewhat like Dortmund last year though, I have no doubt at somepoint in the season they'll come flying back up.

Were you even watching the EPL last year or you are just assuming?
We scored 73 goals last season in the league alone, we were the second highest goal scorers in the league. We conceded 32 goals which is the least Goals against in the League. Our defense were superb that many nonChelsea or antiChelsea fans call it Park the bus, which is a childish term if you ask me and I can assure you that mature people would call it defensive or counter attacking football. People think that football should be only about attacking and defending is not part of the game.. We did not lose a game in the champions league last season and we were the only team alongside Bayern München to lose only 3 games in the whole season in all competitions.
This season however... We are playing terribly and have been very poor defensively and offensively. Our players are still on holiday, they need to wake the hell up before it's too late.

again.. - Hazard has the ball, dribbles and dribbles and stops! and
gives a backpass to azpi who gives it all the way back to Terry and
Terry gives it to Courtois - longball from Courtois. And Chelsea loses

Im not calling Chelsea in crisis until January, they may have lost the league but there is still plenty of trophies to earn, its okay for some banter in the highlights, but Chelsea isnt to be rulled out yet from other competitions...

Against the next four teams in the table you won by more than a goal ONCE. This result was repeated a dozen other times across the league fixtures, (look at that link if you don't believe me). These are good results, but if your defence falls off even a LITTLE bit, these are all losses. Your defence fell off a cliff, and based off last years results, you don't have the offence to compensate. Running up 4 goals on Cardiff and (Swansea, wow, you guys smacked them around) is great and improves your overall tally - but it clouds up just how much of a tightrope you were walking on last season.
There were cracks, and all that was needed to expose them was some small mistakes. We're seeing big mistakes right now with Chelsea's defence, and I'm saying that your midfielders/attackers won't be able to bail you out, because against good teams they couldn't do it last year either.

But hey, I',m not even worried. Chelsea will bounce back and they'll beat Arsenal next!

Now you are a Manchester United fan and talking about 1-0 wins? Have you forgotten Sir. Alex's results when he won most of the titles for United? Wasn't it mostly 1-0? I don't see anything wrong with that as long as you get the important 3 points rather than 10-0 or an unbalanced 5-6 results
Last season probably was not the best against the top 5 but we managed not to lose and the season before we managed to smash everyone in top 5 home and away. This is football, one day for you and one day against you.
Back to topic... We are still shit this season so far. We need to improve a lot and a win against Arsenal will kick us in. I don't want to even think about losing or drawing to Arsenal which it might happen. Mourinho in the press conference said that he will win against Arsenal, he never said anything like that before for an upcoming matches. Because it will be a disaster in the dressing room to face another loss.
Hopefully this is not Mourinho's 3rd year curse.. I just hope we make it top 4 at least and win something at this point. And maybe Jose Mourinho for the first time stay at a club for more than 3 years and win the quadruple! lol

Honestly, I do not think Remy has ever disappointed us, surely Mourinho must be able to see that. Brilliant last season and one of our only great players in preseason. Give the lad a chance, he'll be scoring a goal a game with the full backing of our manager.

The problem you are facing start from your dressing room. The utter shameful incident with the medical staff kinda affects the entire squash badly, and that's just ONE. Dont defend for your coach, (of course it's also the players' fault), he is the main guy who is responsible for this bad result. But he is going to fix that, I know it.
You guys have 1 problem: the team is NOT united! happened to us a lot the last 2 seasons too.
