@Marcus, You know, I can dedicate a WHOLE Footyroom page, posting videos, facts and incidents about how Chelsea is bad and make about the same accusations as you. Did you not see Costa again? He tackled Marquinous in such a savage way, making it look as Marquinous was a chunk of metal, and then he barely crashes in some PSG player and he falls down like he broke something. Did you see Oscar? Im very upset that Ibrahimovic didn't break his leg, because he actually deserved it.

This and much more examples can be made from Chelsea game and their game style as well.

And yet, you start going on a rant about Footyroom members and the teams that they support? Can you ever take a defeat without throwing accusations that aren't true?

And Verrati, why do you hate him so much? In my opinion, he was the man of the match. He juked about all of the Chelsea players and yet you say he was diving more than playing? You should maybe re-watch the match and then start saying stuff about Verrati and others.

@Marcus,
very honestly, untill you didn't auto-victimize yourself no one here passed the line with personal insults towards specific Chelsea supporters. it all started the moment you questioned forum member's motives, a priori. since you want to know how it works technically: you basically threw a flame. as i told you in my previous post, it was all ok, people were discussing about match episodes, you may say they were focusing on PSG wrong calls, even so, what's the problem? they are not Chelsea fans, they supported PSG, the whole planet supported PSG, what do you expect? still, it is not that they went overboard with it. now, you thought that was not fair, then you could join the convo and expose also Chelsea's wrong calls, and even things out. problem is that you ended your 1st post with an highly polemical attack towards the forum, that is not the way to go. after you gave the good example, your fellow Juan immediately followed throwing another highly provocative post. see where it all starts? demand respect? give respect.

about Verratti, my boy Verratti; an amazing young player who yesterday totally bossed the midfield (that's what he usually does). a joy to watch, great character, almost fearless with the ball on his feet, sublime dribbling and passing skills, already considered among the worlds best, successor of the masters Xavi and Pirlo, pride and future of Italy's football... and i have to read from you that he's just scum. why? i don't see a reason to call him scum, unless you are a fan who can't accept reality and is terribly mad about his beloved club falling out of the CL. and frankly, this is the impression you gave me.

it may piss you off that an Arsenal or Barca fan criticizes Chelsea players for rounding the ref, but you got to understand that this is football and the ball is round. when it happened that Barca players did it, i remember furious threads on here against Barca. now Chelsea did it and Chelsea is being criticized. stop. as simple as that. sometimes you give, sometimes you take. dunno if i'm being clear. it will come the time for some other club to end under the fire (and under your fire), this is how it works and you should be enough intelligent and be able to take it. this time is Chelsea's turn.

about the pundits and the media in general; this Chelsea exit finally brought some healthy criticism to english football. surprisingly yesterday it was the first time that a poll of pundits were objective and exposed the facts in an unbiased way (couldn't believe to hear Carragher and Souness talk that way). they say it's because at Sky sports they are Liverpool fans (lol), but seriously, instead of taking it as the umpteenth attack towards your beloved Chelsea, you should listen carefully and open your eyes. what should they support? why should they support Chelsea in this moment (and fall again into intellectual dishonesty)?
that type of support you're asking for is the main reason why english football sucks, with all due respect.

+1 Shpalman, Chelsea fans the first to banter others... Bu they cant take it :) Sorry marcus for not reading your post until the end.

I wasnt waiting for the result who btw very fair, to expose my point about Chelsea or Mourinho, and on top all the attacks lately against me give me an importance i think i dont deserve, so its a big honour you guys are doing to me :) being a center of discussion...

Dont take things too seriously, i tried to banter in a clean way, considering the circumstances of the game, the pre-game conference of Mou about PSG being a good draw and Pressure on ref, i couldnt hide my joy for the justice in Football being given for once, and many fans even those who supported Chelsea at the start of the game changed their mind at the end.

As Shpalman said thats the way it is, today its you tomorrow its an other team fans, How Arsenal fans have been severly trolled and United or Liverpool, none reacted the way you react while its one of the first times Chelsea are in this situation...

So take it easy, insult all the teams if you want, Football won over anti-football yesterday and the punition on the pitch and outside :) was quite deserved, i found it even very soft in the forum because in the highlights it was way worst.

Barça turn is comming, Arsenal turn, City turn soon :), Madrid turn maybe, so why cant you wait until then ? and throw 7 years old stuff unrelated about what happened yesterday...

Dont act like Lodatz who finished in History channels of PL golden era, live Football of today as he is, give credit or take it, banter or criticize s you want as long as you can take some.

why going on insults ? nobody here is responsable for Chelsea defeat, the only one for me is Mourinho.

I couldn't agree more with Shpalman. Marcus, you need to relax. Attacking other teams and fans only makes it worse on you in the long run since people will remember this.

What I found a disgrace was Costa's reaction during the Zlatan incident. He went there to mock Zlatan and nothing else. Did you see his reaction? almost like celebrating a goal a teammate scored.

Mou needs to learn to go into the attack and finish games like he used to with Madrid. He could have gone out and played great attacking football at Paris and probably won there 2-1 and here he could have repeated that. Instead, he chose to sit back, his players seemed ok with that too.

Whoa whoa whoa! Didn't no it was getting hype in this place. Feels like I've been gone for a while now when it only has been a day.

I agree with what shpalman said, I think he forgot a few things here. Allow me to add my thoughts in this very brief little rant.

1- I see what the problem is. People here maybe criticizing Chelsea's performance(s), but what they truly intend for is to piss off every single Chelsea fan on this forum, at least some. Trust me when I say that other than the BPL fans here, nobody cares about Chelsea; nobody cares if they make it through or not (In this case I'm talking about RM fans, Barca fans, etc). But there is a good reason for this whole thing and I get why. Trust me, I do. However, you must realize that you're failing miserably when you see Chelsea fans credit PSG then still go about you silly rants. That being said, most, if not all members continued to bash on Chelsea, which is unacceptable to be honest.

2- Like I've mentioned above, I couldn't careless about Chelsea making it through or not because my team is still in (Although I also like Arsenal). But here's what got me really happy. I've had an altercation with an arrogant Chelsea "fan" recently (Notice, Chelsea fans? I didn't take along the whole nation) and he really tried to get under my skin. I was ok to be honest, didn't really bother me much. But when the ref blew the full-time whistle, I ain't gonna lie, I was joyed. Also, If there's a player who I really hate, it would be Costa. I was really happy when he got his candy ass kicked by Ramos, Pepe, and Sissoko. Aside from that, I'm cool :)

3- Finally, to all the members on this forum. Grow up. I'm sick and tired of you behaving like kids. I know, some football "fans" would ruin the atmosphere but I guarantee you, if you respond in a better manner/ don't respond you WILL embarrass them. I for sure know that many will not take this last part seriously, but if you wanna enjoy whatever's left of this forum, respect and you'll be respected. And to the mods... I just don't know what to say, it feels like justice isn't being served. If it was one mod only operating, then I'd understand. But we got several of them.. SEVERAL!

Just like Alonzo Harris said (Denzel Washington in Training Day) "Whatever the f*** ever."

@Dynastian:
“That's because a lot of Chelsea 'fans' here are biased and d*cks. Not saying you are, but a number of others are. Moreover, your manager is an arrogant twat who's behavior doesn't need any explanation since everyone already knows him, and your wonderful forward Diego Costa is arguably the dirtiest player in the PL. And, of course, you guys are 1st in the PL, so it's only natural that every other English team hates you for being ahead of them (and/or winning the C1 Cup). So you see, it's very easy to dislike Chelsea.“

I’ve said it another thread some time ago, but I’ll repeat it again.. Fans being biased and acting like dicks is not just an exclusive Chelsea problem, you can see it in every fan base, especially among Real, Barcelona and Arsenal fans. Yet, it is only reduced to Chelsea. I’m just going to name another few examples of Chelsea getting hate while other teams are getting away without receiving any hate:

  • Antisemitic chants from West Ham towards Tottenham fans.. No reaction, no one opens a thread on FR.
  • Sexist chants from United and City fans towards our medical Eva Carneiro.. no reaction, no one opens a thread on FR.
  • Racist chants from Chelsea fans in Paris.. BIG ******* STORY. Reaction on the internet: Chelsea fans are scum, all Chelsea fans are racist etc.
  • Arsenal, Barcelona, Real, ManCity etc. loses a game – no one cares, no one opens a thread on FR.
  • Chelsea loses a game.. immediate response on FR by opening a thread and a bashing orgy from other members.

See the pattern?

@spalman
“after you gave the good example, your fellow Juan immediately followed throwing another highly provocative post. see where it all starts? demand respect? give respect.”

Oh, so MY post was provocative, but the numerous pictures or comments, with the sole intention to piss off Chelsea fans, in this forum were not? Very objective.

“about Verratti, my boy Verratti; an amazing young player who yesterday totally bossed the midfield (that's what he usually does). a joy to watch, great character, almost fearless with the ball on his feet, sublime dribblig and passing skills, already considered among the worlds best, successor of the masters Xavi and Pirlo, pride and future of Italy's football... and i have to read from you that he's just scum. why? i don't see a reason to call him scum, unless you are a fan who can't accept reality and is terribly mad about his beloved club falling out of the CL. and frankly, this is the impression you gave me.”

Are you actually kidding me? You’re one of the first ones to bash the dirty playing style of Diego Costa, but Verratti is a clean player in your opinion? I can’t believe what I’m reading here. He is a very good player, but he’s as dirty as Costa. He should’ve received three, if not four, yellow cards in the first leg and in the second leg he committed at least two fouls, that were worthy of a yellow card, too. Your comment is a great example.. if a non-Chelsea player plays dirty it is widely accepted, but if he actually is at Chelsea, then he’s the devil himself. At this point, I’m pretty sure that IF Verratti moved to Chelsea in the next transfer period, he’d suddenly be hated by everyone.

The post from @TheGame summed up everything I have always wanted to say and tried.

English football is hitting ROCK bottom. Period... I supported Chelsea since the beginning of the season (CL only) for the sake of EPL, but till last game, I wanted PSG to go through so badly.

Mou is an entertaining guy, a master class in tactic... but his pattern is getting bored and obvious... still better than Manchester United ATM though.

@shpalm

You are completely not objective when it come to Costa or Verrati ? Did you sleep through out the game and did you miss read what I wrote ? I praised his football skills and I condemned his dirty sneaky tactics !

Shpalman how about we make threads about AC MIlan ? And their business and footballs , would you like that ? Well people would not be so interested i assume hence AC Milan not at European stage , but I am confident there is so much stuff to talk about . How would you feel if week in and week out you have to sit and argue and defend same topics about your club ?

AND tO THE REST : You know what shameful though ?

Arguably one of the best football teams ever assembled , Barcelona , lost to 10 men AGING Chelsea squad with another best CB being taken off , in 2012 and could not defend 2-0 lead , but never got even close of a amount of criticism from MEDIA and mockery from Domestic clubs . It was more simple . All they had to do is keep possession and keep Chelsea at bay, but they failed and after the game still were praised with support and optimism . Team that dived to get the penalty and best player in the world missed it , bullying referee to give that penalty , did not get same kind of treatment from Spanish Media and World Media , as Chelsea getting from English Media alone not mentioning all the other medias . Where was that healthy criticism ?

That shows how F*cked up is English Media !! That is where Spanish Media wins ! I can't believe the amount of news they made around Chelsea with their mocking

Where is the bashing on Manchester City who wins domestic titles and can't even get out of the group stage or past round of 16 ?

What about Liverpool who could not defeat some crappy team from Bulgaria and their players along with that gay voice dumb a*s Jaimie had nerve to criticize us ? NOW YOU SEE WHO OWNS EPL ? Only respect is to Steve Gerrard and Garry Nevile . Very unbiased and neutral review by them. That is being OBJECTIVE and BALANCED .

What about bashing at United for their failures in recent years ? What about Arsenal who conceded 3 goals at home against 4th placed team that scored total of 4 in WHOLE group stage campaign ? Team that plays CL just for commercial side of it !! And They openly admit it !! Disgrace to EPL .

Where are the bashings ?

Hey how about other league teams ? Why not Make a thread about Real Madrid scoring OFFSIDE GOAL TO TAKE THEM TO NEXT STAGE ? ANother objective member had a nerve to come and bash at us ? Look at your shit club winning first . Did Chelsea fans made a thread about it or bashed Madrid about it ?

No , because most of us HAVE CLASS AND RESPECT and know when it is appropriate to be objective rather being a troll !!

And Now on top we have Our "OBJECTIVE" footyroom memebers selectvely choosing crap to back their nonsense , also painting one picture of themselves on the video highlights and completely other on the forum !! DOUBLE FACED MEMBERS . I would be little embarrassed if I was you , but I guess I am taking you way too serious . From now on I won't .

And who gives crap what most members here think , honestly , no matter what they still hate on us ? If we would have gone through , you WOULD HAVE BEEN SCREAMING CHEATS , so we can't win and I AM GLAD WE DID NOT GO THROUGH , THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH OF CRAP WE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN FROM IT . What about Chelsea fans here who are constantly forced to get into bias arguments , trolls and mockery ? I am standing up for Chelsea and Chelsea fans on this forum !

There is a line you certainly cross it way too much !

Words of our coach that address to members here : "I’m not like you . I’m not like people in your area - the nature of your job is you go with the wind, the wind blows to that side you go to that side, the wind blows to the other side you go to the other side. "

You are just like media ! Hand to hand . As soon as media changes their mind you will going other direction .

I have tried to stay away from Footyroom immediately after the lose to PSG because I just knew the amount of *banter* as you call it, bullying as I call it would take place here. I can't help myself to go through the video comments and about 50% of them are just purely provocative. Now you would think that only anonymous people would do such a thing but No. Far from. Forum members writing in capital letters how much they hate the club that I love and how 'disgusting' our players are. Blaming the mistakes of the referee on our players and getting every opportunity there is to bash Chelsea. In fact it doesn't really matter how well we play because there's always something wrong anyways. I'm getting sick of it and am seriously thinking about leaving this community for good. In fact, most of the times we write anything about the club, the negative responses are overwhelming. Doesn't really matter what the subject is about. Constantly having to defend my choice of supporting the club that I love is getting boring and there are many 'objective' people in here that believe anything that the media writes because it gives them an opportunity to bash Chelsea further. I can only recall a single time when I've insulted another team on here
and that was after one of you guys filled an entire page with
provocative pictures, without the mods doing anything about it.

In regards to the last game against PSG, I don't think a single Chelsea fan think that we played well or deserved to go through. Neither did Mourinho. Surely we were hoping for it as we were in the lead but it didn't happen. Neither have I seen one single Chelsea fan that thought that the red card for Zlatan was right.. Quite the opposite in fact.. I would much rather get the opportunity to win fair and square even if that means loosing 0-5. Still, all we get to read about is what's wrong with Chelsea. Rascist fans. Plastic fans. About the 'horrible' tactics, about the hideous players in Costa, Terry, Ivanovich, Matic, Oscar, Ramires.. you name it. We get to read about 'Moanrinho' that really isn't a special one at all. We constantly get to read about how players will 'waste' their time on the bench if they go to Chelsea. In fact I can't recall when someone said anything positive about Chelsea on this forum. And you wonder why I really dislike some of you? Will I get a 'Don't pretend you're a victim* speech now?

We got plenty of 'objective' people in here that keeps talking about wrong doings of the Chelsea players even though we're out of the cup and even though the players could do nothing about the referees mistakes, because excuse me, some of you people make it out to be like the Chelsea players controlled the referee like a puppet. It amuses me how the 'objective' people fail to see how dirty Veratti played (Not saying he wasn't good because he was excellent but SURELY played very dirty) or how the Luiz elbow off the ball to Costas face was wrong. Neither have there been many comments about how aggresive the PSG players became after the red card (which yes, is quite understandable - but still..). Haven't heard much about the handball that should be a clear penalty either. Two wrongs doesn't make one right for the referee. I'm expecting a rant from you all simply for saying this but I'm just saying what happened, not that Chelsea deserved to go through or indeed would go through if the penalty was given for example.

In the end, I'm very proud to be a supporter and all though I'm annoyed about the constant bashing from everywhere I don't really care about it. However, I feel the need to defend myself and Chelsea pretty much all the time. Sometimes I enjoy it though but other teams it's just too much!

Come on guys, dont make this such a big deal. You dont have to play victims here, every club gets their respective media attention when they lose. Chelsea is no different than any other team that has lost in the UCL while being expected to win it. You guys are probably the biggest fan base in FR so it is natural that the forum gets a little more attention regarding this topic but this thread has been useless since page 2. We should discuss the team, the match and the cup but not how Chelsea fans feel as everyone in the world is on to them trolling and calling them names more than any other club fans have ever been.

Lets move on...
