@Shpalman

What Verratti did was make the Chelsea midfield run circles around him trying to get the ball. He effectively dominated the entire midfield. :D

I only saw him raise his boot high and get a foul called against him when he caught Hazard.

Well, i'm not even mad, PSG were amazing.
We did not deserve to go through so i'm glad we're out.
Now, with a cup already in our pocket, we need to keep our heads up! Come on boys win us the champ and bring home the trophy we deserve.

No need to insult Chelsea here if the referee gave us that penalty the game wouldn't go to extra time I'm not surprised that our haters didn't show the gif of the penalty incident. Anyways congrats to PSG.

No one insulting plus dont you even mention the ref, he had a very bad night just as Chelsea.

Courtis is what kept Chelsea from having an even worse night, and that's the only player that actually played like he should from the hole squad.

Verrati was out of his mind last night. Such talent i cant believe he actually won the Midfield battle and made life so hard for Chels mid.
Maxwell played a great game very solid for me.
Cavani with dribbling the keeper and hiting the post needs to be mentioned.

MOTM for me is not one but MenOTM Silva Liuz Courtis and Verrati .

I never insult Chelsea or whatsoever, but I am glad they are out. I said it before that Chelsea was the only hope EPL has this year in CL in term of performance (that's a big praise). But what they have done in 2 legs again PSG was ridiculous, or harsher... emberrasing.

Chelsea could have killed the game off when 11 vs 10. I dont understand why Mou played it safe the way Chelsea did.

Ref was HORRIBLE... he's one of the best refs but then this game ruined everything. He was just bad, but most of his bad calls go in favor of Chelsea except one penalty.

PSG deserved to go through, period... Hat off.

Alex I admire you as one of the best and nicest Chelsea fans here but
"No need to insult Chelsea here if the referee gave us that penalty the game wouldn't go to extra time"
Don't forget 1st leg
Referees gave you already gave you the biggest advantage, sending off Ibrahimovic for 90 minutes.
And of course you was lucky that Costa finished this match, when he should be cleanly sent off.

I completely agree with Jamie Carragher's (for the 1st time) view on Mourinho. He will be respected by the general footballing public but never be loved, except by fans of his team of course who actually believe he has a philosophy of football. His idea of football is purely pragmatic and almost always about how do I stop the other team from playing their game more than how can I instill my own vision on the field. Back in his time at Spain, the Clasico was no longer a spectacle, but rather a spoiled game full of diving, cheating, and dirty tactics. His emphasis on leadership, teamwork, and relationships do not ascribe to a way of playing the game, but rather the improvement of the mental aspect of the game. He is nothing special in my eyes, because he takes winning to an almost nauseating level that leaves the neutral with bad taste in their mouth. His team couldn't kill off PSG, because after the red card they were in a dominant position. But being in a dominant position meant that his team was no longer the victim, which is sadly Mourinho's comfort zone. For the first time in my life, I am glad that an English side lost in the CL because for PSG to actually leave Stamford Bridge today with no ticket to the quarterfinals would have been a disgrace to football.

Here we go.. first of all, congrats PSG for advancing. What an impressive performance, couldn’t have been more deserved than that. To put in such a performance without one man – and not just a random player, but Ibrahimovic – is truly amazing, you couldn’t even notice the difference between the 2 teams, which is quite shocking from a Chelsea fan’s point of view. Speaking of Ibrahimovic, the red card was absolutely laughable. However, I would disagree with some of you in this forum that the Chelsea players’ reaction was disgraceful. It was not. Some of you seem to forget that the players cannot see the slowmotion replay of the incident, therefore it looks much more dangerous. So the reaction is justified, every team would react like that if they think that a teammate is being harmed.

I also want to point out the hypocrisy of some members here. You are only talking about decision that went in Chelsea’s favour, again, like you always do. What do you think about Luiz’ elbow on Costa? What about the clear penalty that Chelsea should’ve received after Cavani fouled Costa? Get off your high horses and start being objective. It’s so ******* annoying that there are only threads about Chelsea losing games and not about others teams. It seems that you really enjoy these bashing orgies and have a Chelsea fetish.

In addition, have you even heard Mourinho’s words? Maybe you should watch some post-match interviews before you start talking **** on the internet. He admits that PSG deserved to go through. He says that Ibrahimovics ban should be reduced, so he’ll be able to play in the Quarter Finals. He says that Chelsea didn’t lose because of the referee, but because PSG was better and Chelsea players couldn’t cope with the pressure. That’s what the vast majority of Chelsea fans thinks, too. We are here, we admit that we were inferior to them, yet you still want to bash us. What the **** do you even want from us?

Anyways, R.I.P. Social Media for every Chelsea fan until next week.

now that I'm feeling bit better about that result i'll speak my thoughts..First of all congrats PSG you deserved it :) yes i am mad that we got kicked out so early but these people who are trolling chelsea making fun of them lolol

  1. people complaining about all the chelsea players going to the ref during the red card incident. ( EVERY TEAM does that)
  2. arsenal,man utd, liverpool, city fans laughing at us. ( LOL... we are still doing better than you guys this season :))
  3. that "sasha grey can take on 10 men at home but chelsea can't" joke (i mean srsly?? this always happens in football remember when john terry got sent off against barca but we still came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2)
    AND MANY MORE
    i actually never thought we would be so good that whenever we lose a game, everyone except chelsea fans would erupt
    IM SO PROUD TO BE A CHELSEA FAN

@quikzyyy I agree that Ibra should not have been sent off a yellow card would have been fair enough but to be honest it didn't change much since he was quiet and never caused any threat but still thats makes a difference for us and advantage but if you ask me whether Costa gets a red card and we play with 10 players or we get the penalty I would pick Costa to be sent off but we get the penalty that would have let us go through. anyways I hope next season we will be more clinical upfront. and congrats again to PSG.

Ibrahimovic was far from impressed with Chelsea's players and the referee, insisting that he attempted to pull out of the tackle. He said: "When I saw the red card I was like 'the guy doesn't know what he's doing' or maybe he saw something else.

"The worst is what I see when I get the red card all the Chelsea players come around. It felt like I had 11 babies around me. I pulled out because I saw him also coming.

"I don't know if he [Oscar] was acting afterwards or where I hit him. It doesn't matter. We won the game and we went through so we will see what happens.

Thiago Silva headed home as PSG battled back from 2-1 down in extra-time to book their place in the quarter-finals of the competition and Ibrahimovic hailed the Ligue 1 side for recovering despite being down to 10 men.

He added: "It was an amazing performance because we were playing with one less. Even in extra-time so they should have all the credit they can get. They played with big hearts. We showed quality and big heart."

On the video that DecentK linked, the Arabic commentator says this tackle is very similar to Ibra's red card tackle almost instantly after seeing the tackle... that says something...

@Jimbet Here's the video of the interview, he was surprisingly calm, class.

@thegame Really well said, seriously. You just expressed my feelings very classily. Saw Carra's analysis too btw.

I absolutely loved Pastore, Verratti ( and even Rabiot yesterday ) in these both games, f*cking brilliant to watch. Never really rated Verratti before these 2 matches.

That's because a lot of Chelsea 'fans' here are biased and d*cks. Not saying you are, but a number of others are. Moreover, your manager is an arrogant twat who's behavior doesn't need any explanation since everyone already knows him, and your wonderful forward Diego Costa is arguably the dirtiest player in the PL. And, of course, you guys are 1st in the PL, so it's only natural that every other English team hates you for being ahead of them (and/or winning the C1 Cup). So you see, it's very easy to dislike Chelsea.

Before I go into my weekend mode hence I need a brake from this shallow and hypocrite place footy forum has become . I like to add few things because I can't watch my fellow Chelsea fans being bashed by hypocrites who sit in the shadows always waiting for good moment to open their mouth .

First of all my question to mods , so you just going to let Dynastian and rest call Chelsea fans here d*cks and other insults ( shall I go back and pin point YOUR POLICIES of FORUM CONDUCT that you all set it up yourselves ? ) .

@dynastian

Once again you prove to me and to others that you are the most biased and double faced member on this forum . Ooh wait, 1 st place belongs to someone else , so you will be right after @tiki . I am sure the way you have been doing lately eventually , you will top him .

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Look at this parade of proud of football supporters whose clubs supposedly are innocent of ever doing anything similar ! What disspoints me most is that our "objective" and "FAIR" EPL fans are giving us crap instead of support . Along with them are English media , pundits , football players . All get on the bandwagon. Bashing us for few antics yet forgetting about their own . Hypocrisy at best . Also , for the FIRST TIME I HOPE THEY TAKE THAT 4th place AWAY so United and Arsenal will start playing those Thursday matches .

Like to give brief messages to few club fans :

1. Manchester United. You guys never stop surprising with YOUR VERY SHORT MEMORY and very bold shameless way of accusing others of doing things that your club has always been doing and been superb at it ! Winning at all cost was the moto of Sir Alex Ferguson . His intimidations, pressuring, provocation of referees and opponents and etc also teaching his players do the same ( They don't even hide the past doings these days , shit FErgie is writing books about it with a proud face ) !!! IF you think not then I would like to ask just how often were you watching Manchester matches ? Now, it is not any different to past .

Lets talk about few disgraces of football and winning at all costs. Just few , because my god there are so many it will take me a year to find all of them and whole new forum dedicated to it :

It is just funny @game you talking about high morals and Respect hahaha mate for God sake , think who you picking on . I know my football and I have watched football for quiet long time to remind people like you that your club is not sunshine and rainbows ! It is the disgrace that won titles on doing disgrace for 20 years !!!

2. Arsenal

@quikzy you are another very bitter and hypocritical member , you want to say arsenal never pressure referees ? Again not much time to sit and look through for more .

The most crying team in EPL is Arsenal . Always running to referees !

3. UEFALONA

Hahha ooh my TIki , you and your daily BS . The champion of the world of pressuring and crying to referees finally witness one time when Chelsea does it genuinely and just can't get over it hahah

I let my boy Adebayor to say my things . I could post videos but there are so many , I don't know which is best :)

4. Real Madrid

Ooh the white nights of beautiful football . Same crap like Barcelona but different color .

And the rest at least try to sound objective not TAKING things out of context , because you sound pathetic .

@shpalman

David Luiz intimidated Costa whole game and dived few times to get him in trouble and elbowed him . He deserved ban and should have been off before incident .

Same way with Marquinos trying to walk in the path of Costa . You know I don't buy all this crap that Costa is only one who is causing trouble ! It is easy to make him scape goat . So if you are objective act like one . I know these tricks . When I played football other players did those tricks to get others in trouble . They know the can get reaction out of him ! Sneaky tricks ! That is disgrace !

Verrati , can that guy be more aggressive and get away with everything ? His simulations and dives and on and on with sneaky smile as he is the innocent one .

REFEREE Was awful he ruined the match . YOU NEVER EVER TRY TO FIX ONE MISTAKE WITH OTHERS . We did not get too favors after Red card , he was trying to be fare and in crucial moments let PSG get away like penalties and cumulative yellows . I would have rather played PSG with full squad . Chelsea was doing very good until they lost man . Then Chelsea just went flat . Plus , if we would have won , I would sit here and watch all of you b*tch about how unfairly we went through . SO I am glad Chelsea did not . Was it our fault that referee was idiot and could not handle pressure ? Incomepentence , if he can't handle pressure in such big match then he should not be officiating such matches .

Did you see Mourinho on the sideline furious at players for not attacking ? Ofcourse not you all choose to skip those moments . I blame entirely players for it , because no manager in right mind will tell his team to go flat when you play against 10 men and one goal can put us in disadvantage . We had same issues before and players just by themselves go back flat .

Anyways I am not happy with my team , at referee and all of this bs that is going on . You ganging up on Chelsea . From now I will start the thread every time some disgraceful crap goes down from your clubs . Just so we can have archive and then refer to it instead of pulling crap out of a*ses . I urge my fellow Chelsea fans to do the same . Just so we can draw the picture of realities , because they have very SELECTIVE MEMORY .
