That's really harsh in my opinion... What does this mean for his future in England? Summer transfer??

^^ This. It merely reflects poorly on the fan, as much as anything else.

Football is a fair play game. Mike Tyson did that in a boxing game and it wasn't an 'Ok' so what if i told you that Suarez actually did it 'Twice' during a 'Football' game?

@Alex

Is it BS to ask for footage of the eye poke instead of a couple of pictures before making conclusions?

Did Scoot Parker complain to the FA about this eye poke? Did the FA review this picture? What if it's just the way the picture was taken that gives it the impression of an eye poke? Not saying it isn't an eye poke, just saying that pictures are not very reliable.

@Alex
I'm not justifying biting, but if you haven't seen it before it's because you live on the other side of the planet. I've seen it plenty of times. I think Brendan Rodgers has confirmed Suarez will be getting help.

@Lodatz

" But when there are literally dozens of instances, every season, that one simply needs to use Google to find... it takes a particularly dishonest person to keep on saying they're accidents when they keep. On. Happening."

It's called football.

He's a little shit just like 80% of the players that play today. It's exaggerating because people are saying he deserves to be banned forever and are using the wrong things justify their opinions. How many times do I have to say this?

@Gustavo:

"It's called football."

Only in your world. In the real world, we call it a pretty awful track record.

"It's exaggerating because people are saying he deserves to be banned forever and are using the wrong things justify their opinions. How many times do I have to say this?"

As many times as you like, because it's not relevant to anything. As far as I can tell, in this thread, only one person said he should be banned from English football, and they pretty much backed off that position anyway. You want me to say he shouldn't be banned forever? Sure. He shouldn't be banned forever. That doesn't change what he is, and why people dislike him, and it doesn't make their opinions illegitimate.

Cull down as many straw men as makes you happy, but that doesn't make it poignant. The things people are using to justify their opinions are entirely valid, and entirely reasonable. We don't like the crap he does, and we don't want it in our game, because it ruins the game.

All you've presented us with are flat-out denials of what you can see right in front of you in the pictures, and telling us that people are overreacting. If Suarez were at Spurs, I would want him gone, just like I would if we had El Hadji Diouf, or Joey Barton, or Lee Bowyer, or any of the other little pieces of shit that disgrace and ruin the game we adore.

What's baffling to me is why you would object to that sentiment, unless you are more concerned with LFC hanging onto him.

Suarez has an awful track record, but not because of his tackles. If you wanted to show the bad things about Suarez you could have used a number of real incidents in his career, for example:

Banned following the racial abuse incident against Patrice Evra.
Handed a seven-match ban by the Dutch FA and fined by his club for biting Otman Bakkal.
Banned for his 'finger' gesture to Fulham fans in 2011.

"That doesn't change what he is, and why people dislike him, and it doesn't make their opinions illegitimate."

All I've done is question some of these opinions and reasons. I personally think the video shown here earlier is ridiculous.

The only way to get to the truth is by having a proper defense against any accusations or claims in order to properly examine them and that's all I'm trying to do. Even if Suarez has it coming, I feel in this thread that there has been a distortion of his real character. It's like calling a rapist also a murderer just because they are both very bad things. In everyday life, judging bad people for bad things in a general way may be okay, but objectively speaking it is incorrect.

We should be judging him for his biting and proven misconduct.

Suarez is known for accepting responsibility for his actions and has always owned up to them.

Suarez has apologized for his finger gesture to Fulham fans. (The finger is Suarez mocking the fans after they mocked him, something completely harmless IMO)
Suarez has apologized for any offensive remarks he may have said to Evra and has always denied being a racist and/or saying racist things that day. I personally don't think he is one.
Suarez has apologized for both biting incidents. I think we should AT LEAST take in consideration that none of the men who were bitten were seriously injured. People make mistakes and I think some people just need to calm down a bit.

Absolutely magnificent satire.

Best bit:

"Do you truly imagine I could have survived all of these years and managed to play for the biggest club in England and the world if I were nothing more than a biting cheat, dear reader? I have always been the same in the football field as I am in my private life, clutching my ankle as the slightest brush of contact from my dog, wearing a shirt of support for myself after a disagreement with my wife. Those who accuse me otherwise speak falsehoods, and I never hesitate to confront their slander."

That was actually pretty light hearted and funny. Much better than any of your previous condemnations.

And no mention of tackles!
