Congratulation Real, this is the real beauty of counter attacking, press high and deadly on every counter. Absolutely stunning, Real didnt make ONE single dirty foul today. they didn't have to.

Beside, Pep's weakness seems always be set pieces and Ancelotti used just that, game was already over after 20 min.

Bayern plays a lot slower in the last few weeks and becomes boring, predictable. For that, they are not even as good as Barca, and they dont have Messi (on form). Real already gets used to it. This is like watching last year's Bayern vs Barca all over again. :D.

Real would have not had it so easy if the played Heynckes team. Real dominated the game today. But don't think the 10th CL title is yours yet. Like Liverpool who thought they had already won PL. Everything can change in an instant. That's why people keep watching football.
If Real go to Final with a cocky attitude like against BVB they will get embarrassed.

I agree with the Wolfie about the part that Guaridola took Bayern backwards. They played much better football last years, this is just Barcelona style without Messi..

Pep messed up the 1st leg with his lineup. Real almost knocked out by BVB, only the post to save them. I'm surprised these overpaid Galacticos actually did the job this time after failing in the Semis year after year. Funny what an endless supply of money can do.

Pep's Munich team will never be able to replicate the tiki taka style of football, because he doesn't have the right players. Which player in Pep's Barca system was analogous to Muller, Mandzukic or Robben? He might get away with it in Germany, where Munich have a monopoly on the league. But this will not happen in Europe, especially against a genius like Ancelotti.

With their performances against Madrid, I think that Bayern couldn't have beaten any of the semi-finalists. Simeone and Mourinho would've most likely defeated Bayern's litttle "mock-Barca" philosophy.

@D, I agree completely. R. Madrid had pretty much the same game plan as United, except that they had the better players and better defense to carry it out more effectively. They did what United tried, but could not do. The people saying R. Madrid parked the bus like Chelsea are idiots. They don't understand that there is a balance between attack and defense that R. Madrid have but Chelsea clearly don't (too defensive with a horrendous strike force). The first goal Ronaldo scored was sheer brilliance and true definition of counter-attacking football at its best. It reminded me of a similar goal he scored against Arsenal in 2009 in the CL. Sigh...reminded me of the good old days under SAF.

Our first was legendary: brilliant, effective, simple and fast. We made tiki-taka look ridiculous.
