Real Madrid are playing Atletico at the Calderon this weekend. As we all know, Madrid suffered multiple losses against Sevilla today (Which I couldn't be more pissed about) James & Ramos are 99% sure to miss the derby vs Atletico. Marcelo got a yellow card (Which he didn't deserve as he didn't even touch the Sevilla player) which bans him from playing the derby vs Atleti, but Real Madrid could appeal and get the yellow taken off as it was just a ridiculous decision from the ref. The only good news for Real is that Ronaldo will come back, but without some of our key players, it will still be hard. Bale is not on good form, Benzema is the type of player that can have an amazing game, or disappear completely. (lets hope he has an amazing game) and with James off, things will be complicated in attack for Real, specially considering Atletico LOVE, I repeat, LOVE, let me say that again just to make it clear, LOVE to park the bus. With Pepe injured and in doubt for the derby, the only options for center backs are Nacho and Varane, they are young and good, specially Varane, but Nacho is not mature enough and could make a few mistakes, he was very good vs Sevilla, but as you can see in Sevilla's goal, he doesn't have the best positioning and is prone to making a few mistakes. I have faith in our defense, but obviously they aren't having the best time, and with our best CB's injured, I dont see things going too smoothly for Real Madrid defensive-wise.

I sadly predict a 2-0 or 2-1 win for Atletico. I do indeed have faith in my team and have hopes they will pull off the win, because it is crucial for us at this point of the league, but with these many players suspended or injured, it is very difficult to beat Atleti. I pray that Atletico wont play as dirty as they usually do and wont injure any of our players. What are your thoughts for the derby and score predictions?

Real Madrid have just announced through their website that James has fractured his right foot. According to Marca, James could be out 2 months while Modric would be out for 2-3 weeks. I'm so done... Just before El Derbi... it's like God just wants Patetico Madrid to win... I'm sorry, but if a team injures two players in less than 30 minutes and both are injuries of this caliber, they should be banned. (Yes, Benzema's tackle to Beto was retarded as well and could have easily been a red, or at least a yellow) but still this is so infuriating.... Bale, Modric, James, Ramos, Cristiano, Bale, Pepe have all been injured this season... Injuries have been against us. Why dont players like Raul Garcia and other Atletico Madrid players get injured? Thats right, because THEY are the ones that kick and injure other players... I'm sorry if this is sounding like a rant, or just retarded, but I'm so pissed... Right before the match against Atletico... as if they dont get lucky 90% of the time they play us... And if you dissagree and think they dont get lucky... They have gotten zero red cards against us this season, when they easily could have had 5-6 red cards total.

I will go with the tie.. probably a 1-1. Considering Ramos and Marcelo are not playing.

It's not really that Atletico park the bus.... we've dealt properly with teams that park the bus before. It's that they play dirty against you. When one of our players sneak past the bus, they will kick at their shins until they fall to the ground. It's just how Sevilla played against us today.

Losing Ramos, James, and Marcelo is a massive blow to us. I repeat, massive. Not to mention Pepe is also injured. Imagine Chelsea playing without Azpilicueta, Terry, Cahill, and Oscar. That's a huge blow for us, and Ronaldo can't make up 3 defensive players and a midfielder. Even so, we still don't have a particularly good record against Atletico. We have 2 draws and 3 losses against them this season. I predict a 2-1 Atletico victory, or a 1-1/2-2 draw.

I think Real Madrid will win or draw. 2-2 or 2-3 since they're missing key players in defense they'll want to be more careful and let Atlético have more possession of the ball, wait for them and then hit them with counters, but they'll still concede a goal or two.

Hopefully you're right @BlaugranaDude. But without James who usually is one of our best players against Atletico it will be tough. Khedira played a solid game vs Sevilla, hopefully he can repeat giving us more defensive cover. Isco playing as natural CAM, with the form he's on, he'l probably be one of our best players. Hopefully Bale will get back to being the player he was last season, and even at Tottenham. Ronaldo NEEDS to step his game up as well, he hasn't been himself in 2015. Probably because of the break up affecting him, but hopefully he's over it, at least a bit and can start performing like he did at the start of the season

I doubt Real will win this game. Modric & Ramos may be big loss in match like this, while Marcelo & James will be missing too but they are easier to replace. On the otherside Ronaldo will probably got some extra motivation to score after his ban.
