Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid - Score Predictions

Real Madrid 20 755

Real Madrid are playing Atletico at the Calderon this weekend. As we all know, Madrid suffered multiple losses against Sevilla today (Which I couldn't be more pissed about) James & Ramos are 99% sure to miss the derby vs Atletico. Marcelo got a yellow card (Which he didn't deserve as he didn't even touch the Sevilla player) which bans him from playing the derby vs Atleti, but Real Madrid could appeal and get the yellow taken off as it was just a ridiculous decision from the ref. The only good news for Real is that Ronaldo will come back, but without some of our key players, it will still be hard. Bale is not on good form, Benzema is the type of player that can have an amazing game, or disappear completely. (lets hope he has an amazing game) and with James off, things will be complicated in attack for Real, specially considering Atletico LOVE, I repeat, LOVE, let me say that again just to make it clear, LOVE to park the bus. With Pepe injured and in doubt for the derby, the only options for center backs are Nacho and Varane, they are young and good, specially Varane, but Nacho is not mature enough and could make a few mistakes, he was very good vs Sevilla, but as you can see in Sevilla's goal, he doesn't have the best positioning and is prone to making a few mistakes. I have faith in our defense, but obviously they aren't having the best time, and with our best CB's injured, I dont see things going too smoothly for Real Madrid defensive-wise.

I sadly predict a 2-0 or 2-1 win for Atletico. I do indeed have faith in my team and have hopes they will pull off the win, because it is crucial for us at this point of the league, but with these many players suspended or injured, it is very difficult to beat Atleti. I pray that Atletico wont play as dirty as they usually do and wont injure any of our players. What are your thoughts for the derby and score predictions?

HT. Atletico 2-0 Real Madrid. Just as predicted. Madrid started to play a bit better at the end, but Atletico as usual defending with their whole team... No excuses though, they have been the better team.

Chelsea won half time 1.8 odd
Arsenal won half time 2.4 odd
Atleti won half time 2.75 odd

100% of my one shot betting, despite loosing money on combined betting predicting a Madrid derby draw and London derby win for Gunners...

Chelsea never disappoints lately and the odds are still incredibly high...
Everton-Liverpool draw at half time 2.3 odd, hoping so but its already an amazing day :)

Not even mad. I just didn't think they would dominate us this bad...

I don't even understand why we're unable to defeat them. It's not even like they dominate in spurts. They dominate throughout the entire match. We don't even get a chance.

Well, tbf... Almost half of our starting XI didn't play, maybe if they did play we would have only lost 1-0 :D

Our entire forward line was useless. Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, and Hernandez were all invisible throughout the entire match. It seems that Atletico find it too easy to shut them down. Ronaldo has a minimum of three defenders around him every time he touches the ball, Benzema has Godin and Miranda on him for the entire match, and Bale is just horrible against Atletico in general (has Siqueira and one of the midfielders on him at all times). Atletico have successfully found a method of shutting down all three of our forwards at the same time.

Nothing against Madrid fans but your club has been working against Barça, very silly moves, the ones to alert Fifa about Lee Seung woo age were Madrid direction, got Barça banned for one year, signing their main targets and youngsters scouting, and now going to put pressure on a 16 years old masia player, the same one they alerted Fifa about, Lee Seung woo, thankfully the youngster is faithfull to Barça, but already tasting pressure...
Bidding on Neymar just to make his price higher, and go sign Bale after, Bidding on Suarez while they didnt want to sign him.
Paying the socios under Rossell demission, and hosting him in Madrid.

Madrid is doing silly things to Barça for years now, and doesnt know what the word fair play looks like, so dont be surprised that Barça true fans hate is increasing toward everything that the royal family club represents.

@Tiki

"Bidding on Neymar just to make his price higher, and go sign Bale after, Bidding on Suarez while they didnt want to sign him."

Yes, it's called competition. It's extremely sensible to intentionally bid for a player your rivals want in order to increase the demand for that player. And naturally, an increase in demand will only result in a higher price. Real had the purchasing capability to buy Neymar. Why wouldn't we have made offers? Are you going to accuse Chelsea for 'bidding on Neymar just to make his price higher'? Because they showed interest in him too. He was one of the best teenagers in the world, any big team would want him. Hell, I'd still love to have Neymar on my team.

Wtf? LOL, this sounds extremely childish to me. So now you're furious we signed Odegaard? I'm sorry your team isn't attractive enough for talented young players. Or should I blame Zubizarreta instead for failing to sign him? Because that's what Bartomeu did.

"Madrid is doing silly things to Barça for years now, and doesnt know what the word fair play looks like"

Diving against Real Madrid semi-final in the CL to make us lose (Dani Alves), diving against Inter Milan semi-final in CL (Busquets), signing Neymar and paying his father extra 40 million to hide his true price, cheating taxes, having your players cheat taxes (Messi), paying off the referee against Chelsea in 2009 (Ovredo), etc.

It seems as if Barcelona had never really understood the meaning of 'fair play' to begin with.

Need I say more? Barcelona are no angels, so stop acting like Real are devils.

Back on topic, this match was phenomenal. I have utmost respect for Atletico for his victory. They didn't play dirty, but just simple football. We haven't had a match like this since the 5-0 against Barca back in 2010. I guess even the big teams get thrashed every once in a while. What a humbling experience.

Not starting an argument, but Perez try to bring Barça down outside pitch issues, not reading your things, not wanting to answer...

If a team tries to bring the team you support down by silly moves, you would have the same feelings toward them, peace.

I understand the domination obssession of Perez, but no need to make rivals down by those non fair play moves...

I have 0 respect of what Perez lately represents...
