The first leg of the UCL quarter final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will be played tomorrow at the Vicente Calderon.

Real Madrid have a horrible record of 0-2-4 this season against the Colchonero's, including one embarassing 4-0 loss. Since finally the squad is fully fit, I'm hoping Madrid will beat Atletico, or at least draw in this leg. Real must obtain a good result this game for a chance to liquidate it at the Bernabeu.

People always ask me why I don't completely rate Benzema s a world class striker, and it's because of stuff like this, why did he not shoot? I still can't believe it. The fact that Marcelo got a yellow is ludicrous, wasn't even a yellow worthy challenge, let alone one that won't let him play next game. If you ask me, this is the most stupid rule in football...

@RM17 the tempo was pretty fast for him, he focused on assisting Ronaldo and i agree, it was a mistake considering defenders read his intentions...
If Bale scored his 1 vs 1 wich was easier, things would have been a lot different.
Now 0-0 is not a bad result for Atleti, Madrid should be careful in the second leg.

So Marcelo can't play next game? That's f*cking great because Coentrao is nowhere near as good as him.

It is not stupid rule . It was stupid to that apply it before final in semis , but UEFA lifted it . Otherwise , this rule keeps players in line .
