I think he needs time. Look at our defender Koscielny, he got so much criticism but now he's improved. Remember Lucas? Regarded as EPL's worst CM but now look at him! Practically dictates the midfield (shame he's injured). Every footballer has a crappy season but I'm sure Carroll will give his worth soon.
