Conte will probably get much more from him than Wenger would ever do, great deal for both, 35M for a player who never scored more than 2 in the league, I'm fine with selling him, but CAN WE NOW SPEND THE FUCKING MONEY?

@quikzyyyy No Arsenal is not allowed to spend money. :P

We have idiots too who sold our homegrown players and now trying to fix mistake by spending way more than we should have...

Matic wasn't a homegrown player I think, if you are thinking about him.
If Drinkwater comes to Chelsea he is a homegrown player in the league at least.

  • Liverpool in process of sealing £48m deal for Naby Keita - not sure how the figure has decreased so much after RB Leipzig refused £70m originally!
  • Liverpool also close to signing Thomas Lemar however an offer in excess of £60m has been rejected. Final deal may include Divock Origi
  • The ox is on his way to Stamford Bridge. Reported fee is £35m
  • Man City preparing bid for Sanchez
  • Tottenham target Serge Aurier wants to move to Man Utd but PSG want to sell to Tottenham
  • It appears Liverpool still believe they can pry Virgil van Dyke from Southampton for a fee near £70m
  • Swansea make a bold move in bidding for Renato Sanches

Apparently Man City are prepared to trade Raheem Sterling and a sum of money to gain the service of Alexis Sanchez!

@nigel Liverpool already confirmed Naby Keita, the deal has decreased because he will join next summer. From their site

Liverpool Football Club can confirm they have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for the future transfer of Naby Keita.

The Reds have agreed a deal with the German club and the midfielder that will see the 22-year-old move to Anfield on July 1, 2018 following the conclusion of the current season.

If we sell Sanchez to City fine, I'll understand him, but if Arsenal take lower cash + someone like Delph for a counterweight, that will be the last piece into coffin for me.

@quikzyy would you take Stirling as a counterweight though?

Arsenal 429 9002

I don't think so, everyone knows what he did to Liverpool. I think he would block this transfer immediately, why would he downgrade this much? (and I'm not even speaking about the salary)

@nigelpayne @quikzyyy Imo, they should send someone like Silva over to Arsenal, he is not as young as he was but still good enough to be a starter at Arsenal. ;)

  • Jovetic join Monaco!
  • Keita Balde should also join Monaco after the club agreed a deal with Lazio.

Wonders if this mean Lemar is on the way to Ars..Liverpool.

I'd take Silva with all 10, he is amazing player and that's why they would never sell him to us and neither he would downgrade himself..

@quikzyyy Not so sure about that mate, Pep is kinda trying to revive his squad with younger player and after getting Bernardo, he might consider he don't actually need Silva anymore, especially if it mean getting one of the best player of a direct rival in exchange. Ok, this might just be wishful thinking from me. :( Oh man, I got an idea, why don't Pep give you Toure for Alexis? We already know Pep and Toure had problem in the past so maybe it could work. :)

(Yeah, none of those trade talk has any basis, I'm just making it up to keep the discussion going.)

@quickzy I heard 70m + Sterling as City offer, I'd rather take 120 millions ca$h.
Lemar is Coutinho replacement, but lately in national duty Neymar is preventing him from going to Barca. Didn't see it comming...

No worries. Neymar will talk badly about Barcelona to convince Coutinho to stay put (basically because of Messi's infamous shadow), but our saviour Paulinho will be there to convince him why he's smiling all day long when he first arrived.

the boy is very hopeful too on the transfer. they "reportedly" agreed on £148m but the announcement will be delayed until Liverpool finally lands a replacement on either Lemar or Ox.

Paulinho ? Savior ?

Anyway mate, it's official Coutinho is done deal 160 mil bonuses included, Liverpool told Barca not to make it official so they can sign his replacement without inflating his price, your Barca spy from FR ;)

That being said don't ask me about the price tag, I prefer not to think about it...

@tiki there's no way Sterling would willing to come from City to Arsenal. Hell, I'm an Arsenal fan and I wouldn't do that!

Since the Mbappe deal will be basically done very soon, Keita will be his not Lemar's replacement. Jovetic will be like Germain last season - very good striker used for resting Falcao and coming into games late. They have extremely strong and solid squad:

--------------------Subasic--------------------
Sidibe-Glik-Jemerson-Kongolo/Jorge
Boschilia-Fabinho-Tielemans-Lemar
-------------Falcao-Keita Balde------------

Subasic's replacement is Benaglio (will be solid in Ligue 1), defence is better than last year (they managed to keep Sidibe and got more stable defensive options on LB in Kongolo - former centerback, and Jorge - keeps running whole field 90 minutes). Their depth is meh, however they have few outfield players who can play as defenders too. Two options on LB + Serrano (highly rated young prospect), Raggi on CB, and Almamy Toure on RB. Fabinho, Meite, N'Doram can jump in defence too.

Now for midfield which was best part of Monaco last season. They replaced Bakayoko with more offensive in Tielemans who brings in more attacking creation with the loss of Bernardo and Mendy. They also bought highly rated Meite from Zulte-Waregem, player similiar to Bakayoko and they already have same type of player in N'Doram. Joao Moutinho is still in Monaco and actually in good form. Lemar will most likely stay and be key on wing but they also have Boschilia (can play as CM too), Ghezzal, Rony Lopes and Mboula.

I already said everything about attack but with Keita-Falcao and Jovetic in backup, they also have Guido Carillo and Adama Diakhaby.

Marcus2011

We rather not pay 40 mil for someone who can't establish themselves in Arsenals starting line up . No matter how arrogant this sounds , I will stick to this opinion . So amir you can tell Wenger to shove him up deep in his .... winter coat pocket ..

40 million bid accepted. What's your thought Marcus? Have you sticked to it?

He's better than Moses, but very inconsistent. Hope this isn't Matic 2.0. If it's not, then Chelsea just got scammed.
