@Emrecan I know mate, I'm still hoping he will come back one day. :( But yeah, Besiktas is my number 1 turkish club as of now and it is sure to remain it as long as Hutchinson remain there. ;)

@quikzyyy This whole dispute thing between Bonuci/Alves and Barzagli/Dybala seem interesting, would propably be worth its own thread to be fair. :)

@JuanMata Actually, I hate to be that guy, but I just read that on Skysport:

Despite reports elsewhere, there is no buy-back clause in the deal that saw Nathaniel Chalobah join Watford from Chelsea, according to Sky sources.

Galatasaray just terminated Sneijder's contract. Even though Sneijder really wanted to stay. He was the fan's favourite and the board are taking a big risk. It's really not going to end well. Supporters are preparing to carry out a raid.
I will miss this guy. His quality took the standards of Turkish League very high. Will be sad not to see him in Turkey anymore. Good luck at the rest of your career!

Reports say Bakayoko is close to Chelsea and Arsenal joining in to bid for Matic.

@Emre, isn't it opposite? That Sneijder terminated his contract and needs to pay Gala €4.5m?

Besiktas 149 3376

@Croatian Nope. He really loved the club and did not want the 4,5M that he was going to take for next year while he leaves. He won't pay Galatasaray 4,5M. But if he signs for another club in Turkey, he will have to pay 20M.

@emo Yea , seems like soon UEFA will need to come up with transfer laws because right now any club is asking ridiculous money for someone who had a one ok season . Or maybe let it be this way . Inflated market will force big clubs to rely more on academy and scouts looking for developing youth .

Bonucci is like a father . GREAT BUY !

Bonucci to Milan...Jesus Christ. Get a world class defender and weaken your biggest domestic competitor in the process? Well effin played.

@Marcus2011 You want my opinion, its Pogba transfert who started it all, or maybe not, I would rather say its the Serie A team who started it all with the crazy release clause they gave to some player like Belotti, Higuain and Icardi. Inflation of player value at the moment is really crazy. Hope it doesn't go any higher than it actually is, because if it keep this up, the difference between poorer club and richer one is gonna be too much. :(

@Sunflash I know right, its the kind of thing we see Bayern, PSG or even Juventus do year after year, I really find it refreshing to see a smaller team doing it to the dominant one. :)

FFP only affects lower clubs which are not that rich, that's why they keep asking ridiculous prices. Look at City, they can spend 300M and still get away with it. Does anyone here think Walker is worth 50million? Lewy did amazing job getting that much money from him, milking City. Inflated market won't force clubs like City to rely on academy players..

@quikzyyy Walker isn't worth 50M but selling him still feel like a poor move for Tottenham. The guy is an excellent player but above all else, he has a great personality and help the team chemistry in that. Of course, if he really wanted to leave, then its for the best, decent money they made off him.

@Emo I think getting 50m is some awesome business, wonder if they are gonna use them or they will save the money for stadium. If Spurs think they don't need to strengthen their squad I think they will be in problems, would like to hear some opinions from Spurs fans like Lodatz..

Not a Spurs fan by any stretch of the imagination, but why shouldn't they be favorites?

Top scorer? Check. Dank young talent? Check. 3/4 great defenders? Check. Top playmaker? Check. Top keeper? Check. Depth? Check. Recent track record? Check.

And objectively most important: a competent manager that doesn't switch out half the side every summer? Fuuuuucking check.

United will be stronger, City will be stronger, hopefully Arsenal as well. Chelsea will for sure bring someone as well.
They will play on new stadium, which will have different size which may or may not cause problems. Their depth is not that big imo, until they want to go out of ucl in group stage again and get knocked out of the cups to focus on league. I kinda doubt they defenders will be able to pay 50 matches+ a season.

@SunFlash Its hard to see any team as a favorite in EPL, cause we all know how tough it is. :)

@quikzyyy The new stadium will take some time getting used to, also, I feel like spurs need to bring something new to their mentality. Otherwise, I agree with Sun they are an impressive side. :)

Sunflash

Agree with you ! They have a great squad to put pressure on the title and that is all they will do this season . And CL won't be a significant improvement if any . They gave up title towards the end just like seasons before . Not a champions mentality. Also at Wembley ? like Emo said it will take some time getting used to it and they aren't good at that stadium at all . You can screenshot this comment .
