I am very happy that we got Caner and Gökhan Gönül from Fenerbahçe. Well Caner was from Inter technically. But he was a Fenerbahçe player. They are the best right and leftbacks of Turkey. Caner can also play forward.

DONE DEAL: Gnabry, who impressed for his country as they won Olympic silver at this summer's Games in Rio de Janeiro, is expected to join Bremen on a four-year contract for an initial fee of €5 million.

David Luiz gets killed by the general audience for two performances, Brazil vs Germany, and PSG vs Barcelona.

Other than he's he is a very solid defender, and 95% of the games I've watched with him he didn't put a foot wrong. People like to forget that. I think he'd be a great signing for Chelsea.

Chelsea needs a defender quickly. Luiz is solid enough and should be an improvement compared to Cahill or Terry.

Besiktas looks decent with this squad. I think they can push for a last 16 spot. Their group is very hard to predict though.

We are offloading Zouma and bringing Sideshow Bob back .. Good defender my ass . If he doesn't have a supervision over him basically someone baby sitting him .. Kalidou Koulibaly wouldve been an excellent signing for Chelsea though.. but Napoli owner Aurelio de Laurentiis' refusal to budge on his £60 million asking price brought talks with Chelsea to a halt. 60 mil?! my god.. 40 mil wouldve been enough though.. same case with lacazette.. 60 mil also.. Ridiculous price tag for any EPL team..

@Sun Thats the point, he's a solid player so why PSG would re-sell him for less than what they paid for him. Chelsea are just being wishy-washy about it. Could he be a great signing, yeah, could it be a good deal for PSG, not at all, even if they only want him to stay as a backup, they won't be able to find a player of his skill with this being the final day of the transfer. Very sorry to say so, but PSG would be pretty stupid to accept this move. I suppose they would at the very least ask for more money to no register too big of a lose in money.

@Emrecan Happy to hear that, I was worried you would be annoyed to hear Nasri went to Sevilla. Great to see Inler signing for Besiktas, the lad didn't played much last year because of Kante, so maybe he'll get some playing time. Also, very good signing with Caner Erkin, from what I heard, he is a very solid player, seem like you did great with your transfer! :D

@Sun It make sense when you think that Zidane was the coach of the Castilla, in other word, I wouldn't be suprised if he turned to the youth team for depth, he already given a lot of faith in Asenjio and Lucas Vazquez. Pretty ironic to think a ancient galactigo would do exactly the inverse of what get him in Madrid but I really like that, I think its pretty cool.
