Godfather is my favorite movie of all time and I would give to all of the actors their Oscars .

As far as De Niro not deserving in second movie , I am sorry but I disagree . You are comparing best defender with best striker ( football wise ) . Two had different roles in the movie , one was supporting and other was leading role . I agree that Pacino deserved to win Oscar for leading best actor role and I agree that De Niro did not deserve to win supporting role .

He did manage to be on screen for 35 minutes and did spoke Sicilian which makes it even more amazing. He portrayed real young italian gangsta . He played exactly like Brando would have played young Vito .

As far as Brando not deserving his Oscar , I just ask to watch this scene . Brando is an icon of perfect mafia boss and the way he played the boss only De Niro would come close but not as good .

Lol like many noticed on the video , even that cat deserves Oscar !
