I told you, my prediction has been correct so far, although it's not over yet. Bayern were so open we needed verratti for the killer passes.

I told you, the tie isn't over yet but my prediction has been correct so far. Bayern were so open if only we had verratti but bayern could say the same about lewandowski

I dont see how people voted PSG lucky...
My analysis: PSG were clinical because we had our two best forwards players (Ney/Mbappe) in excellent form and because bayern's defence is their weakness this season. We got low possesion and many opportunities against us because we lacked our two best midfielders and Bayern have great midfielders. And Bayern didn't score more because they lacked their best forward (+ Gnabry). Add to that the fact that Navas had a great game (is anybody surprised at this point?) and the score seems pretty legit. NOW, this is PSG and they tend to play WAY worst on second legs and to be honest Bayern is still Bayern so anything can happen in second leg. Anyways great game, I believe the best team (but not by much) won today.

It's been a long time since I've seen Bayern Munich this weak even though this PSG team is crazy talented. It's just a shame that Kylian is playing in this trash league. Imagine Kylian in Premier League or LaLiga or Serie A; we'd see a different Kylian because there would be COMPETITION for him instead of being in Ligue 1 where PSG is the only OP team they have and that leaves him to no improvement since he's not testing his clear skills we all can see. He's just wasting his talent in a league he's way better at for what? staying with his family in Paris? easy money? shame.

Great game for the neutral fan. Every time PSG gained possession they looked super dangerous. But this is far from over - everyone who knows Bayern's mentality will agree that they are now extra-motivated and concentrated in the second leg. It will be decisive if PSG are going to be as well. And maybe if Lewandowski is going to be back until then (which I doubt).

Agreed on all counts. It's especially annoying when a goalkeeper's great performance is disregarded by that attitude.

That second leg history is what worries me. In my opinion this is FAR from over. Hopefully we can win but it wouldnt surprise me if Bayern wins it. I’d say its 55-45 in favor of PSG because three away goals are still important.

If you rewind to the champ league final last year, PSG actually created the better chances. Punished by some slack finishing and a few heroics by Neuer. The difference here tonight was 2 things. A. PSG had the big match players and very hungry B. Bayerm Munich massively missing Lewandowski.

For me Verratti is easily our most important player in big games. I rather have him and miss Ney or Mbappe (usually). Not saying he is a better player than the other two, but he is more importante for team balance (again, usually). But yes, Bayern lacked Lewa for sure here. Goes to show how good of a player he is (if anybody had still doubts)

Did you forget Navas' excellent 2014 World Cup when Costa Rica made the quarter finals? That was before Madrid purchased him and he already had built a stellar career in Spain with Levante.

Yep. Bayern had like 31 attempts. Lewandowski would have had a field day!
