Lyon finished 7th in Ligue 1. A league that was suspended since March and they've barely played at all since then. Now they've knocked out Juventus and Man City back to back and are in the UCL semi finals. Surely this has to be one of the biggest upsets in recent memory

That said, City only have themselves to blame here. Poor defending giving away goals, absolute howler from Ederson on the third one, and what about that inexplicable open goal miss by Raheem Sterling? Football is crazy sometimes

Also now half of the top 4 are French teams. Maybe it's time for some people to start giving Ligue 1 a bit of respect

Pep f**ked up cos instead of playing his strongest 11 he f**ked about changing his formula and tactics as if he was scared of Lyon rather than the other way round ffs!

Man city got here through the mistakes of madrid. They had no place being here in the first place and now Pep is blaming "mistakes" for their loss lol

Well, since 2020 is probably the worst year ever (after the year i was born) i wouldn't be surprised if the final will be between Lyon and Leipzig. Just imagine, we have Real M, Atl.Madrid, Barcelona, City, Juventus, Dortmund, or even Chelsea and Ajax OUT, and we have some stupid ass teams like Lyon and Leipzig or even PSG tbh in semifinal. I'm going to vomit.

I do like Sterling, have to say... I like losers, my heart goes out to them. After his National Team fuck ups I was sure he would become yet another over-hyped young English ego magniac waste of talent... Then fucking Pep believed in him... I was happy to see him getting Pep's trust - a coach who made him work and didn't give him special treatment for being English... He actually managed to overcome his loser image... But holy fuck is it back with a vengeance... A truely sad day. Forget what I think about City as a club. As a neutral - that miss really made me feel physically ill. I almost vomit. No joke... Hope he can overcome this.

So PSG is better than Manchester City when you compare between 2 rich teams and it is the last chance for them to win this extraordinary Uefa Champions League Cup

The Map of European football is changed ..... 2 Teams from French League Against 2 teams from Bundesliga but still Bayern Muinch is the first candidate to win Champions League Cup

In Europe, real talent comes from Germany and France. Germany is the most successful team in Europe and the world (after Brasil) and France is the most successful team in the world in the last 22 years. These are indeed farmers league because that is where the talents grows.

I say it all the time. Win or lose its a fact, your league is full of french talents or young players that trained in france. This comment is not for real football fans, as I obviously believe that overall Premier and la liga are above ligue 1. Its for those who say "farmer's league" etc, when the club they support is made of many players that came from it. thats also why i dont mind club that inject money like PSG or City because other wise you cant keep your talent. I respect all team and enjoy good football from whomever plays it :) my beef is with stupid fans, not teams or leagues.

And people forget that France could be even more powerful with players like Mahrez, Koulibaly, Benatia, Aubameyang, Guerreiro, Lopes, Aurier ... who were born, raised and trained in France

Funny thing is Leipzig are the only side that actually outplayed Bayern this year.

Would be interesting if they beat PSG.

Excuse me, huh? They drew with us twice, and one of those they were lucky to have the draw, while the other was deserved. That's not "outplaying". Besides, PSG showed everyone what embarrassing pretenders they are anyway.
