These guys don't owe you guys anything. They are not trying to prove anything to you guys; they are there enjoying their game and destroying your leagues in UCL.
Messi doesn't need to be out of Barca to show he is great, and if you don't see it, then thats fine too!

Ashley Young, Lukaku and Erikson all came from Premier League to Serie A and all 3 will have major success. They don't come to Serie A for no reason. They wana make history leaving their comfort zone unlike Kylian staying in Ligue 1 for the rest of his life probably has another 10 year contract with PSG.

Or Messi. Yeah... I said it. Prove that you are more than a product of the system... play in a whole different league.

@OChinoMasFino you proved how uknowledgeable you are about football. Don't you compare LaLiga to Ligue 1. Ligue 1 is a college league compared to LaLiga. Messi has been there since the toughest days in LaLiga as well so how dare you compare LaLiga to Ligue 1.

@Lambo91 - no one compared Ligue 1 to La Liga. And what are you going on about Messi being there from the "toughest days in La Liga"???? He signed his first senior contract in 2005 ( 24 June 2005, his 18th birthday, Messi signed his first contract as a senior team player). The previous two years (your "toughest days"), Barca placed 2nd and 1st in La Liga. Barca placed 1st or 2nd every single year after (except for 2008 where they placed 3rd). Exactly what IS your definition of "toughest days". LOL
This spat with Abidal might make Messi leave (yeah... I know... it wont. Abidal is gone in the next week). But boy... I would love to see Messi learn a new system, new language, new philosophy.....

..... Is Messi good? yes. Great? yes. That isnt in doubt. But is his greatness a product (and contributing factor) to the system.... HELL YEAH.
And just because I dont worship on the altar of St. Leo the Greatness, doesnt mean I am a troll @Hadley
