Sorry but as always, the FA, referess and especially VAR always favour Man U when they got the chance. Sigudson was sitting on the floor, how the hell he interfered the GK. fuck EPL VAR team.

Guys guys chill. This is a close call soo...who you would think would get the benefit if its a hard decision? I bet the referees are instructed to favor Big teams with Big money when its close like that its really very simple. Till the day that money rules almost everything and defenitely competitive sports it is bound to happen most of the time...but yes I still think we should protest that and not just sit back and take it so you are right to be angry....so carrry on...just sayin :)

how come VAR doesn't know Offside rules? Degea had no chance to save it after deflection and Sigurdson didn't obstruct Degea's view. Hence no offside!

Ah I am so happy! Why? Well now we have solid proof of how United was always getting favors when they were in trouble. Looks like they are back at it. Then they have the audacity to call it fair win, and better luck next time. These scums in EPL are fixing football in front of our eyes, and all fans can do is moan and complain then be dismissed as sore loosers.

Youre happy, but this is sad. Cause its a solid proof that football will never be fair.

Just the fact the ball was deflected by one of MU players is enough NOT to call it offside. Remember the first goal by South Korea vs Germany in the last world cup? A world cup English referees were banned from!

I wonder if you would still think it wasn't offside if the entire team was sitting in front of the goal. foot for thought

That's food for thought.
Probably foot(ball) being thoughtful, is actually foot for thought. Probably, football is a food for thought, that is nothing but foot for thought..
Mate, that is a word play. You're a genius.

Even if that everton player was not there on the ground de gea still wouldn't have saved it. The people In control of the var have to also think about that. But their brains are made of timber so what can we do.

Imagine being GK in that last situation. Ball is coming to Sigurdsson path, you don't know if he is off or not (you don't need to know, it's not your job), therefore you have no idea what is he going to do (he might take that ball and shoot, or try to change the direction - doesnt matter if he is sitting or standing). He moves his legs in last moment, no time to react (in fairness there is no way De Gea would be able to save it, but it doesn't matter), the ball is in the net, but the flag went up, Sigudsson was in fact offside. I see nothing wrong here.

I can see why the goal was disallowed, for a fraction of a second, he was in the line of sight of the keeper. Add to that the fact that he suddenly moved his leg, which can totally throw off the keeper (those who have actually played football would understand). Now, De Gea still would not have been able to save the shot if Sigurdsson wasn't there but it doesn't matter. To be brutally honest, Sigurdsson was dumb AF to be sitting there doing nothing. It's like he just started playing football and didn't know he could potentially interfere with the play sitting right in front of the goal in an offside position.

1. Sigurdsson does not obstruct DDG's vision meaning he's not interfering with play.
2. Sigurdsson moves his legs out of the way so he's not interfering with the play.

Another farcical VAR moment. English refs are making me hate football.

You can't deny how terrible English refs are. There's a reason FIFA didn't let them officiate in the world cup and FIFA will probably do the same thing in the next WC if they don't improve.

Please read the rules better. Sigurdson is interfering with with the play by moving his legs. That is interfering with the play the same as a dummy pass is.

Liverpool 0 1462
And you should listen to officials of why they disallowed the goal, hint, it wasn't because he moved his legs.

BTW getting out of the way of a shot on target is not the same as a dummy pass. Now, who doesn't understand the simple facts about football?

Did the referee was doing the right decision? The answer is YES! Why? Sigurdson have a little move (active play) and gain an advantage to create a goal. If hes leg doesnt move, maybe it will onside.

Are you mad? He moved his legs out of the way so he wouldn't interfere with the play if he didn't move his legs the ball would have hit him. Having said that he's a moron for just sitting there for a couple of seconds doing nothing.

Holy hell. There were numerous times when players are offside but they let the ball go through their legs without hitting them, and it's considered a goal. This was no different.

There was no advantage gained, de gea went the wrong way becayse of the deflection, not because of sigurdson
1

Manchester United, Spain 0 115
@Hellbent yes there is. In this case the player staying in one spot in active play while in offside position in front of of goal, while other time players usually moving in and out of offside line.

VAR saved us again, even i was surprised. Should've count as a deflected goal in my opinion but i don't even know what counts as interfering with the play and what's not.... but well we'll take the point......

if the ball does not hit maguire and hit sigurdson easy decision offside..the ball hit maguire and does not touch sigurdsson and other keeper could have saved it easily ..come one VAR..u could do better than this
