Totally agree with Umair, i didnt even know whotf Valvarde was till he was at barca. Still dont! Seems crazy to me to spend all this money and effort to pluck wc players away from their teams and their legendary status there...just to have some incompetant no-name manager put you on the bench or play you in a position you dont favor. Stupido

This coach wants to rotate his squad only in crucial matches lol. The same way he fucked our UCL last year :/

Is Boateng even a striker? Good game by Sevilla anyhow.

Valverder understimated sevilla a lot

Sevilla is at top of their game under machin.. Fact is valverde doesn’t have any thing to be a Barca coach. I hope Messi just repeats Roma class at Camp Nou so we gets dumped out of copa.. valverde needs to know his arse cannot be saved by Messi everytime..

This coach always played Denis Suarez as a winger and destroyed his career. That lad could easily improve like Sergi Roberto and now he is playing Alena as a winger who was supposed to be a replacement for Busquets :/. Someone, please tell this coach that Coutihno, Denis Suarez and Alena are midfielders -_- give them chances in those positions and if they don't perform then
you can sell them but whatever the coach is doing its fucking disgrace.

Too bad we didn't get a goal at least. What's important is that Messi and Busquets had some rest and Suarez and Alba played only played 30 minutes. I was honestly surprised Boateng played this game. I think he's a player that can cover for Suarez against the weaker teams in La Liga. Coutinho's slump is worrying me though. Let's see if we can turn it around next game.

If same team given to zidane or guardiola they would easily win this game.. Barca fans will smile when valverde steps down as a coach.

Again, Barca showing how weak they're without Messi.

2-0 Inter milan (H), 1-1 (A), 5-1 real madrid (H). They are pretty decent without him as well. Remember that Ter stegen, Busquets, Dembele didnt play, same with Suarez, Coutinho, Jordi alba, who first came on late in the second half.

People just say Messi when half of the first team squad was missing.

Is this some kind of underestimation of Sevilla or what?

BlaugranaDude 8 years ago

Barcelona, Argentina 0 414

No. In Barcelona, everyone is lowkey unsatisfied with Madrid winning so many champions league these last few years even though we've won the Cups and La Liga titles. So, this season the club decided to give precedence to the CL and then La Liga. That's why the players are rotated and key players, like Messi, rested to be on top shape for CL (especially) just like Real Madrid and Ronaldo have done before. Pique already said it. "If we win the cup, great. If we don't, there'll be another year." I don't like to lose these games as any fan, but we have to bite the bullet if we want to win the CL. We don't have another shi.t show like Roma last year.

But that cannot justify valverde playing players out of position. At least he should play in their position and then decide tactics based on their strengths and opponents weaknesses and today valverde didn’t do any home work at all..

Please chill, you're making other Juve Fans look bad, making outrages claims about other players
Messi was rested or was maybe out of form for the day, Making Vavlerde choose to not play him tonight.
It was a cup match, which can be seen as less important than a league or a CL match

Disrespecting Sevilla?!?!? Mr. Incompetent back at it again. Worst Barca player keeps playing over D. Suarez, raketic never gets subbed for unknown reasons and pique being a dumbass as usual. I really hope Messi will have his worst day of the season, becuase I don't want that that asshole's ass to be saved again and hopefully will be his last season. He's just not good enough to effectively manage many world class players.

bigdaddymafi 8 years ago

Rakitic has a deal with Valverde to play every match as PSG wanted to buy him in the Summer and he was going to go.

ForTheLULZ 8 years ago

What are you talking about? Raketic is a good player and did a great job its just defense is bad and especially Pique is just bad.

KoolGee 8 years ago

Liverpool 0 38

valverde again proves that he is not good enough to be the coach for barcelona.

Akkadian 8 years ago

Barcelona 0 554

I have had enough of him always putting Barca in this situation instead of finishing the tie off. For a team like Barca it's easier to defend a lead than to make up a deficit. He always put these youngsters under immense pressure.

I see Sevilla just defending the whole game. They can lose 2 - 1 and go through or just draw the game.Barca has to win by 3 goals
