Nice to see the Dutch play such good football again! Completely deserved win. On the other hand, what a sad display from France, no motivation whatsoever. Without Lloris it should have been 5-0 tonight.

@bypass. Yes Kante is way better. And say whatever you want about liverpool but not a thing about milner. He is one of the most underrated players who deserves respect. Even from the opposition.

France needs more creativity in the midfield. Nzonzi is not the man to carry that responsibility.

Croatia coach should've won coac h of the year award. Deschamps is not that good imo. they just have overall better player pool in age, stamina etc.

Agreed. Croatia were better as a team I thought. France had the talent to edge it in the end, and deschamps has never been amazing, he's had so long and now got this stacked AF team that carried him.

France lost their creativity without Pogba.

Kante all day long...ā€¦.none of your Liverpool holding midfield players such as overrated Henderson, overrated Milner, Fabinho or Wijnaldum couldn't lace Kante's boots!

Congrats to the Dutch lads, very nice team they've got. We..we sucked. That's ok though, I'm not too pessimistic. As far as I'm concerned, international football is dictated by form. If we're shit for the next year I'm alright with that so long as we turn up in June 2020!

Lloris man of the match!

Though France was missing half its starters in defense & midfield (Umtitti & Hernandez, Pogba, Tolisso), Netherland played superbly and could easily have won 6-0 if not for Lloris.

Worst performance I've seen in a while by Varane, Kante, Tolisso and Matuidi :/

Phenomenal game by the Netherlands. Haven't seen them play this well in like 8+ years. Are they finally back to the top of world football? Lloris for man of the match still though; would've been 5-0 without him

Congrats to the Netherlands. Very good game from the Dutch side and iā€™m glad to see you back.
Our defense was completely lost and the absence of Pogba was felt. One of our worst game in a long time Very dissapointed with our team today but I hope Germany will beat the Netherlands.

Sometimes, its a balanced team that wins then the team full of superstars, and this dutch team has it.

@ Sexy Salah

No, they are not. Solid and decent players but not superstars of the French caliber.

If it wasn't for Lloris it would be 4 or 5, aweful defending and Laporte still can't get a call... Nice cheeky chip pen from Memphis... And, Frenkie de Jong, remember that name... Oranje are back!

" The Flying Dutchmen " are truly back!!! Total domination and fabulous football!! France were very lucky, it could have been more goals if not for Lloris`s saves. And what a panenka from Memphis Depay! :)

Outstanding performance by the Dutch. Beautiful football especially on the counter-attack. France were absolutely poor. If it wasn't for Lloris, the score would've been worse.

What a game from the Dutch. Finally a real good display from back to front, every counter looked dangerous... France was clueless. Happy to see the Dutch is back to the game again after 2 embarrassing failed-qualification. Keep it up!!!
